Security on computer networks is currently a matter that must be considered especially for internet users because many risks must be borne if this is negligent of attention. Data theft, system destruction, and so on are threats to users, especially on the server-side. DDoS is a method of attack that is quite popular and is often used to bring down servers. This method runs by consuming resources on the server computer so that it can no longer serve requests from the user side. With this problem, security is needed to prevent the DDoS attack, one of which is using iptables that has been provided by Linux. Implementing iptables can prevent or stop external DDoS attacks aimed at the server.

SMS (Short Message Service) is a popular communication technology revolution. The development of computerized technology has been very advanced. SMS is very vulnerable to data theft or theft by irresponsible parties. For the sake of maintaining the security of SMS can be done by using cryptographic techniques. Cryptographic techniques can encode text messages by encrypting them into passwords that are not understood. Mars algorithm is an algorithm that uses a 128-bit key and the encryption process consists of 32 rounds. This symmetry algorithm will produce a higher level of security for the ultrasound image because it can encode it into a form of cipher with a process that is complex enough so that it will be difficult for cryptanalysts to access the image. This research will use the Mars algorithm for the encryption and decryption process, so the process needs to go through several long stages in order to produce the final cipher. This study describes the process of securing SMS by encoding it based on the Mars algorithm, in the form of a password that is difficult for others to understand and understand. This is done as an effort to minimize acts of misuse of SMS

Digital imagery is currently very widely used, so it is very vulnerable to data theft by unauthorized parties. In order to maintain the security of digital images can be done by using cryptographic techniques. Cryptographic techniques can encode digital images by encrypting them in the form of passwords that are not understood. ICE is a block cipher published by Kwan in 1997. This algorithm has a structure similar to DES, but with additional bit permutations that do not depend on the key in the rotation function. There are various types of ICE variants, namely Thin-ICE, ICE standard, and ICE-n. The difference between the three is the length of the keyword used and the number of rounds. The Thin-ICE algorithm uses 64 bits and 8 turns. The ICE standard uses 64 bits and 16 round keys. The ICE-n algorithm uses keys 64n bits and 16n turns. The use of this type of algorithm can be adjusted to the needs of users where Thin-ICE has the lowest level of security among the three, while ICE-n is the highest. This algorithm does not become the subject of a patent and the source code can be used freely.Keywords : Cryptography, Digital Image,Algorithm,ICE.

When considering the use of mobile or wearable health technologies to collect health data, a majority of users state security and privacy of their data is a primary concern. With users being connected 24/7, there is a higher risk today of data theft or the misappropriate use of health data. Furthermore, data ownership is often a misunderstood topic in wearable technology, with many users unaware who owns the data collected by a device, what that data can be used for and who can receive that data. Many countries are reviewing privacy governance in an attempt to clarify data privacy and ownership. But is it too late? This chapter explores the concepts of security and privacy of data from mobile and wearable technology, with specific examples, and the implications for the future.
