The key support technology of smart substation testing technology is analyzed, the concrete application of smart substation is combined with the traditional network testing, and the function of real-time network packet analysis is introduced, which has make the process of smart substation layer network test form a closed loop system, extend and improve the system of smart substation performance test. And links to the reality, to the transformer substation switchboard network storm suppression function, the time delay, lost projects and so on the frame rate to carry on the statistics, the contrast has confirmed this plan feasibility and the validity.

A simulation system of dynamic characteristics of relay protection based on smart substation was exploit in this paper. The necessary information was extracted form SCD configurations file of smart substation and fault recording document, the different frequency of sampled data was transformed and unified, the action process of relay protection equipment is simulated with operating equation and action characteristics which is advance defined or self-defined, the process from normal to fault is reappeared by graphics in this system. The system, which was opening and expansibility, was suitable for reproducing dynamic characteristics of protection in smart substation, also was applicable to develop new principle protection equipment.

By analyzing the test method named orthogonal 12 points for accelerometer, there are several problems to be solved in the temperature experiments for accelerometer. In order to study the temperature characteristics of the accelerometer for better, the testing system for accelerometer based on Labview is designed and the composition of the system is introduced. The microprocessor used in the temperature experiment is C8052F series microcontrollers. A 24-bit A/D converter is embedded in the microprocessor and the resolution of 0.149 microvolts can meet the accuracy requirements of the accelerometer. According to the requirements of high accuracy and test efficiency for accelerometer, the digital multi-channel testing technology is applied to realize the accurate test. The application in temperature experiments indicates that this precise and steady testing system can meet the requirement of accelerometer calibrating & testing completely.

The intelligent substation relay protection facility is a fundamental element in construction of modern power system, based on the principles of flexibility, security and accuracy, and it can be divided into process layer and substation layer according to specific equipment. The former is suitable for individual sampling of disposable equipment, can be separated from the base station synchronization sampling, with the help of synchronous digital system and ping-pong algorithm to achieve synchronization of the overall sampling, that is to take the distribution protection components, through the separate transmission medium to realize the information transmission; the latter is for variable power plant components centralized backup protection, taking online real-time tuning technique.
