Multimedia technology in the field of education and teaching has made great achievements. It is also used widely in the area of sport. However, multimedia technology in the teaching of basketball tactics is still in the initial stage. The paper is to study the application of multimedia technology in teaching basketball tactics, and to make "basic tactics of basketball teaching" Multimedia CAI Courseware. The Study shows that it is possible to use multimedia technology in basketball tactics, and it is bound to help improve basic tactics of basketball teaching.
