On behalf of the Editorial Advisory Committee of the journal, I have much pleasure in
announcing the introduction of the publication of an important series of reviews in
Australian Systematic Botany, to be known as The L. A. S. Johnson Reviews.
Our aim for The L. A. S. Johnson Reviews is to provide critical state-of-the-art
evaluations that advance knowledge in current key areas of systematic botanical research.
The series will be commissioned by invitation, and will be numbered in sequence. The
journal will provide 75 reprints free of charge. The author will also receive a free copy of
the issue in which the paper is published. Normal refereeing processes apply.
