Onset of a disabling condition whether it implies primacy or not usually brings with it a change in the person’s perception of the environment. Traditionally, Rotter's locus of control has been used to describe an individual's psychological orientation to the environment. Studies which investigate the impact of disability on locus of control are all but lacking. This study investigates the relationships between women with work or activity limitations and their perceptions of personal and environmental control. Correlational and chi-square (contingency table).analysis are used to discuss the relationship.

Human factors are a primary cause of maritime accidents. This paper explores the relationship between risky behavior and overconfidence among members of a ship crew. Data on confidence and risky behaviors were collected through experiments carried out on a navigation simulator and an associated questionnaire. Contingency table analysis and chi-square test were then performed to clarify the relationships between these variables. The results indicated that both overconfidence and underconfidence were potential causes of risky behaviors among crew members; the type of risky behavior undertaken was also found to be related to both overconfidence and underconfidence. Levels of confidence varied with individual characteristics such as age and sailing experience. The major findings were as follows. Crew members aged 25 years or younger were more likely to be overconfident; crew members with less sailing experience were more likely to be either highly overconfident or underconfident; highly overconfident and underconfident crew members were more prone to involvement in collisions; skill-based risky behaviors were most associated with underconfidence; rule-based risky behaviors were more likely to be exhibited by highly overconfident or underconfident crew members; knowledge-based risky behavior was primarily observed in highly overconfident crew members. This paper fills a current research gap by identifying the individual characteristics that induce risky behaviors, which will be beneficial in enabling the maritime sector to develop targeted interventions to prevent maritime accidents.

Café as an establishment primarily sells refreshing drinks, snacks, and light meals, with coffee being their flagship product. This type of business is steadily multiplying around the city of Tagbilaran, Bohol, Philippines. Customers have linked to business success as well as customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. This study was implemented to analyze the role of customers’ satisfaction in gaining customers’ loyalty, specifically among purposively selected cafés. The quantitative method of research approach was used with the aid of questionnaires. The data gathered were statistically treated making use of frequency, composite means, weighted mean, chi-square test, and Pearson correlation coefficients. The respondents included 210 customers from the purposively selected cafés. Results showed respondents to be very satisfied (VS) for the Product; for the price; for the place; for the service quality; and moderately satisfied (MS) for promotion. Results further showed that there is a significant degree of relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.

Basically, the house has important role for human as their living place in order to fulfill their basic necessary and it is a citizen health determiner. The kind of this research is observational cross sectional approach. The method used is observation and interview directly on the respondent. Data analysis using table analysis, that is analyzed descriptively. As the result, it is known that from 86 houses, there are 52 houses (60.5%) with clean kitchen, 34 houses (39.5%) with dirty kitchen, 38 houses (44.2%) with house construction which is closed of mouse, and 48 houses (33.7%) with house construction which is not closed of mouse. The conclusion of this research is based on statistic test by using Chi-Square test, it is resulted sig score in the amount of 0.00 so sig0.005 means that there is relation between house construction and kitchen cleanness with mouse existence. Suggestion should always clean the kitchen from leftover food / food and other scattered waste, construction of a house that has not been tightly mice to make a tight house construction rats

✓ A series of 210 patients with facial fractures sufficiently severe to require cranial computerized tomography (CT) to evaluate suspected closed-head injury (CHI) was studied. The injuries were separated into five grades of severity based on neurological examination, including cranial CT. The injuries were also grouped into three categories based on facial regional involvement, using chi-square contingency table analysis. The data demonstrated that patients with upper facial fractures were at greatest risk for serious CHI. Injuries to both the mandibular and the midfacial regions with no upper facial involvement more frequently resulted in mild CHI with a modest likelihood of no neurological deficits. Trauma to only the mandibular region or to only the midfacial region was least likely to involve CHI.
