In this paper, a new kind of solar collector wall system was designed. Numerical simulation for the orifice plate solar collector wall was carried out to analyze the change of the distributions of the temperature and velocity and the heat collecting efficiency under the conditions of different air inlet velocity. The results shows that the temperature stratification decreases with the increase of the inlet velocity, and the velocity field stratification enhances with the increase of the inlet velocity, and the collection efficiency first increases then decreases with the constantly increasing inlet velocity, and the collection efficiency is the highest when the inlet velocity is 2.5 m/s, up to 81.34%.

A new type buckling restrained brace ensuring to work under different levels of earthquakes is analyzed in this paper. The brace is simplified by LINK elements of SAP2000. The skeleton curve of the mode is clarified. Three specimens with different slot widths are designed to evaluate the simplified model used in the software SAP2000. The evaluation work is accomplished through the software ABAQUS. The force mechanism, the hysteretic model and proposed reasonable scopes of slot widths are grasped. The numerical simulation work proves that the new type buckling restrained brace performs excellently.

In this paper, a new type of air vehicle with forward-swept wing was described. Its subsonic aerodynamic characteristics was calculated using FLUENT in terms of structured grids which were generated by GRIDGEN, finally its subsonic characteristics was analyzed. The methods and results expected are of positive significance to our future design on both civil and military air vehicle with forward-swept wing .
