Steel processing and distribution centers in China have been constructed by iron and steel enterprises, by warehousing enterprises, by steel circulation enterprises, or by end users. These centers connect steel mills with end users, which’s logistics service level affects the competitive advantages of steel supply-chain. So their common characters, problems and development tendency are analyzed in this paper. Based on this analysis, three service modes with cases are proposed, such as integrated logistics service mode, comprehensive logistics service mode, integrated value chain logistics service mode. Which one mode has been adopted, these centers should take some measures to improve service level and reduce costs. Four measures are put forward for these centers, respectively mastering the dynamic market situation, designing market oriented service mechanism, optimizing the supply chain, re-engineering business process.

Purpose In practice and in literature, logistics service quality is one of the key concepts in any service industry, including airlines. However, the breadth of content and the inconsistent accounts make comprehensive understanding of service quality elusive, thereby necessitating the conduct of a systematic review of the literature on service quality in the context of airlines. In doing so, this study aims to provide a clear, consistent and current overview of the literature, enabling the advancement of theory and research in service quality. Design/methodology/approach In particular, this study presents several aspects of logistics service quality based on the 52 articles reviewed published between 1993 and 2019. Content analysis was used to analyze the data in terms of key attributes of service quality from the selected articles. Findings Following an analysis, this study summarizes the antecedents and consequences, along with mediators and moderators, and develops a review framework of service quality. Research limitations/implications This study provides a starting point for understanding logistics service quality in a context of airline where choice of perspective (at three different perspectives) and framing of context (where logistics interfaces with marketing function, thereby ensuring a well-functiong synthesis of marketing and service activities in the value chain) are of decisive importance. It also expands an understanding of service quality in marketing field with an integration of logistics function as well as challenging some of the conventional knowledge of the applying logistics in service-based business like the airlines. However, this paper is restricted by several limitations that must be taken into account when applying its findings such as context-specific results,cross-sectional data and recall variables. Originality/value This paper provides a clear and consistent concept, as well as a current overview of the literature, which enables advancement in theory and research. It also reveals theoretical underpinnings of the research stream and outlines future research directions. Additionally, it challenges some of the conventional knowledge of the applying logistics on service-based business such as airline which broadens the scope of our thinking and provides a foundation for future study.

Various research on logistics has been conducted to examine Logistics Service Provider (LSP) firm performances in many angles. This is important since logistics service has become an important industry globally and the trend also absorb in Malaysia`s commercial market. Growing in innovation trend was also effected logistics when demand on green logistics take place in international stages on awareness over environmental issues. In line with this development, halal-value creation concept also emerges and constructively contribute to the sustainability of the industry. Therefore, there is a discrepancy in the study of business models, particularly on the firm performance that have not yet been tested in the role of halal and green logistics as a catalyst for marketing strategies that can benefit a company. Thus, this concept paper will conduct an effort and check previous literature related to business performance to see the direct relationship on halal and green logistics as independent variable toward firm`s performance. Through this conceptual study, halal-green logistics will be dedicating as element of sustainability marketing in firm`s performance; which environmental and contamination issues will be highlights and address accordingly. This study will propose Resource-based View Theory as underpinning theory to prove inclination of relationship between variables. Finally, the paper will provide Halal-Logistics Value Chain conceptual framework as initiative to facilitate the global community of researchers and practitioners in understanding the diversity, meaning, and evolution of the halal-green logistics phenomenon in the context of emerging economies, also as improving firm performance.

To optimize the spatial layout of modern logistics services in Zhengzhou, build a driving mechanism for the professional development of logistics services, and promote logistics services to give full play to the driving force of coordinated development of regional economy, we must base ourselves on the logistics service industry chain, strengthen industrial innovation, value innovation and integration innovation, and realize the reconstruction of the value chain of logistics service industry. Based on the three-chain integration theory, this paper constructs a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model for the three-chain integration of logistics service industry, adopts a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, evaluates the effect of the three-chain integration of logistics service industry in Zhengzhou, and aims at the problems existing in the process of three-chain integration, such as lack of systematic planning, weak competitiveness, and low profitability. Measures such as improving fiscal and tax incentives, clarifying strategic positioning, overall planning of industry layout, strengthening innovation, and integrating new driving forces for the development of logistics service industry will further promote the in-depth integration of logistics service industry chain, value chain, and innovation chain in Zhengzhou.

Vietnam country is in the process of both deep and wide integration with the world economy. The world market is wide open for Vietnamese goods and reverse. Towards economic integration and opening up, logistics industry increasingly plays an extremely important role. Porter (1991), argues that logistics is a functional area that contributes to value creation. Logistics is a tool to link activities in the global value chain such as supply, production, distribution, and market expansion for economic activities. According to the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP, 2013).Although knowing the role of Logistics for the economy, the capacity and contribution of logistics to the Vietnamese economy is still small, the Vietnam LPI is just be arranged at from 39 to 64 in the period from 2007 to 2018 according to the officially announced figures of the World Bank. From the above reasons home logistics industry, the author who is teaching Logistics supply chain management industry at Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, take a pen to write down this research. This essay analyzes the current situation, related issues and difficulties related to the competitiveness of Vietnam's logistics industry. Uses qualitative methods, uses analysis, comparison, synthesis and description tools to clarify the theoretical basis of the competitiveness of Vietnam's Logistics service industry, and identify indicators Pepper is used to measure the competitiveness of Vietnam's logistics industry. Uses quantitative research methods, through data collection, data analysis, using statistical methods, to determine the current status of Vietnam's logistics service industry capacity since 2007 to 2018, and find out what factors affect the competitiveness of the logistics service industry. Intensive manual labor enterprises in the developed world face challenges competing with products imported from countries where manufacturing costs are low. This reduces the volume of domestic production and leads to rapid loss of knowledge and experience in production processes. This study focuses on the Israeli footwear industry as a case study. Qualitative methodologies were applied, including in-depth interviews and field observations. A literature review on previous research, and contemporary trends was conducted. The field research examines challenges along the value chain in small factories. It finds that mass production paradigms impose a decentralized process between designers and manufacturers and therefore do not leverage local potential into a sustainable competitive advantage for small factories. The proposed solution is a digital and technological platform for small manufacturing plants. The platform mediates and designs the connections between production, technology, and design and enables the creation of a joint R&D system.
