In order to heat the gas of Boiler tail to comply with request of emission temperature of environmental regulations, heat pipe gas to gas heater (GGH) is used in the wet flue gas desulfurization (FGD) system. Heat pipe GGH is characterized by high efficiency, small losses of fluid resistance, and no leak of the flue gas, and desulfurization system possesses higher desulfurization efficiency, no additional power consumption, low costs of operation and maintenance, and it also solves the problem of acid corrosion and scaling, which is more suitable for wet flue gas desulfurization system.

In 2002 the law number 112 defined in Italy the Elementary Assistance Levels (Livelli Essenziali di Assistenza - L.E.A.), which are the medical procedures provided to all Italian citizens by the National Health System (Servizio Sanitario Nazionale), for free or after payment of a small fee. Each Italian Regional Government has to define for each pathology (as already categorized in Disease Related Groups - D.R.G.) a benchmark, which is the percentage of cases of each pathology which should be treated in Day Surgery. The benchmarks are thresholds that should not be exceeded to avoid fines or other penalties to the hospital. In order to meet the objectives required by Italian law, a Day Surgery Unit must be able to perform as many operations as possible with high quality, high effectiveness, high efficiency, low costs and a low percentage of complications (?zero defect? objective). To get as close as possible to this objective it is necessary to seek the best organisation and the best surgical technique.

The electrostatic precipitators (ESP) have been drawing more and more attention due to their high efficiency and low costs. Numerical simulation is a powerful, economical and flexible tool to design ESP for industry applications. This review summarizes the available numerical models to simulate different physical processes in ESP, including ionized electric field, air flow, particle charging and motion. It has been confirmed that the available models could provide acceptable results and the computing requirements are affordable in industry applications. The coupling between different physical processes can also be considered in simulation. However, there are still some problems not solved, such as selection of a suitable turbulence model in EHD simulation and the coupling criteria. The future study should focus on these issues. This review also includes new types of ESP developed in recent years, such as dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) ESP and corona assisted fibrous filter. These new types of ESP have had high efficiency and low energy consumption. Even though nearly all new ESP types can be modeled using the available numerical models, the most challenging issue is the DBD simulation.

<span>Induction motors are used widely in industrial applications, thanks to their high efficiency and reliability which nominates it as a good machine used in various application. Based on the application and accuracy, modeling processes of electric machines are carried out using different mathematical methods. The most common method for modeling electrical machines is based on solution of differential equations of voltages as well as calculating the time varying self-inductances and the mutual inductances based on the rotor angle. One of the most important features of this method is that the inductance is no long depend on the time varying voltage, which is the major problem facing the conventional model. But the D-Q modeling approach has several problems, the greatest of which is that the voltage applied on stator must be balanced in addition to the fact that the winding are sinusoidal distributed form. Herein this research is focused on build two models of a 3-Φ induction motor (IM) based on the two analytical approaches and compare them to clarify the difference. The results have been shown that the conventional model gives more accurate response when it is applied in both normal and upnormal operation. MATLAB/Simulink softare is used to construct the D-Q and classical abc IM models.</span>

After that, the structure and working principle of RFID are introduced, and then the advantages of RFID technology are analyzed. Finally, combining with concrete example, the business process about Logistics Warehouse Management System is showed.

Dyes present in industrial effluents have been treated by many methods, among which adsorption stands out for its high efficiency, low costs, simple operation processes, and the absence of hazardous byproducts. In this research, two adsorbents were obtained from chitosan beads (CS) cross-linked with glutaraldehyde (GLA), graphene oxide (GO), and titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2) for the adsorption of the anionic dye FD&C Red 40 used as a model pollutant. The optimum removal conditions of FD&C Red 40 dye using CS-TiO2-GLA beads were determined (pH = 1.73, TiO2 amount =279.77 mg, and initial dye concentration = 55.23 mg L−1) with a central composite design with surface response methodology (RSM). The effect of the graphene oxide (GO) in the adsorption properties of CS-TiO2-GLA beads was evaluated, showing a considerable improvement in the removal efficiency of the model dye. The intraparticle diffusion mechanism best described the adsorption kinetics for the two adsorbents. This research demonstrates the potential of chitosan beads incorporated with graphene oxide and titanium dioxide nanoparticles to remove anionic contaminants from wastewater.
