As the fabrication technology of the composite electrode becomes sophisticated, the understanding of the detailed knowledge of the microstructure’s effect on the electrochemical process is essential for the commercializing of the solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). In this paper, an equivalent circuit for the SOFC structure is proposed to clearly describe the electronic electric current transfer process, ionic electric current transfer process and the charge transfer process at the electrochemical reaction interface between electronic and ionic conducting materials. And types of the boundary condition setting constraints for the developing of the multi-physics coupling numerical model of SOFC are obtained basing on the electrochemical kinetic analysis.

Definition of magneto hydrodynamic explosive munition is introduced. The technology that magneto hydrodynamic loaded EFP is presented. The magneto hydrodynamic power is generated by MFCG. The physical model of magneto hydrodynamic explosive munition using ferroelectric ceramics as primary source is established. The equivalent circuit of primary source, MFCG and magneto hydrodynamic accelerating model is analyzed by current transfer process. The security system is designed for the new ammunition, and its initiation timing is analyzed. A microsecond detonation control method is also given.

An effi cient and effective information technology transfer from developed countries to Malaysia is an important issue as a prerequisite to support the ICT needs of the country to become not only a ICT user but also a ICT producer. One of the factors that infl uences successful information technology transfer is managing the process of how technology transfer occurs in one environment. It involves managing interaction between all parties concerned which requires an organized strategy and action toward accomplishing technology transfer objective in an integrated and effective mode. Using a conceptual framework based on the Actor Network Theory (ANT), this paper will analyse a successful information technology transfer process at a private company which is also a supplier of information technology (IT) products to the local market. This framework will explain how the company has come up with a successful technology transfer in a local environment. Our study shows that the company had given interest to its relationships with all the parties involved in the transfer process. The technology transfer programme and the strategy formulated take into account the characteristics of technology and all those involved.

Heat has often been described as part of the energy transfer process. Information theory says everything is information. If everything is information then what type of information is heat, this question can be settled by the double slit experiment, but we must know what we are looking for.

The paper examines the process of technology transfer from British industrial companies to Vietnamese companies, to look at the obstacles of this process, especially in dealing with different business culture environments. The study uses the case studies method, conducting interviews with about ten companies working in oil and gas service industry. Since this is only a first stage of the longer term project, only preliminary results were discussed. Therefore, a company in civil engineering consulting has been examined for comparison. The paper argues that the differences in perception of the same operation activity like service in oil and gas industry are crucial factors to take into account if the transfer process is to be successful. Also, the transferor and the recipient may have different behaviour in negotiating, in communicating with each other. Thus, the preparation of background information, to do "home work", patience and pro-active attitudes in trying to understand partners are important for transferring technology into different business environment.   In addition, the factors, sometime not very technology-related, such as internal political motives and organisational issues of the firms involved can be very influential in the success of technology transfer process.
