This paper mainly introduces the design idea of real-time database in embedded configuration software. According to the characteristics of real-time database, this paper using three layer storage structures which consist of shared memory, file system and general database. It improves the access efficiency of real-time database and data reliability in a timely manner.

Due to the complexity of the router, its professional configuration leads to the phenomenon that operation and maintenance personnel of the information systems can not be competent for the configuration tasks. In order to lower the practitioner threshold of their operating and maintenance personnel, a WYSIWYG router configuration software in graphical interface needs to be developed. With the reduced quality requirements of employees, the main functions of the router configuration are achieved. This article describes the development and design of this kind of configuration software.

This paper introduced a design and implementation of heat exchange station control system based on PLC and industrial configuration software, including the control scheme and principle, hardware selection and software design, etc. The circulating pumps and replenishing pumps in the system can all be driven automatically by PLC and inverter. Main process parameters e.g. steam pressure and measurement temperature can all be shown on the industrial PC running configuration software, and instructions could be sent by the engineer and operator on-the-spot via the Human Machine Interface as well. The automatic pressures adjustment of steam supply of the heater by advanced PID algorithm has been realized finally. It is verified that the system is highly reliable and stable, and it greatly enhances the level of automation and pressure control accuracy of the heat exchange station and meets all the equipments running demands well.

This paper describes the design and implementation of piping functionality for ARM based multi-process mono-kernel embedded operating system, including overview of inter-process communication, key techniques of designing piping routines such as getting i-node for piping, creating pipe, reading and writing pipe, and terminating pipe, etc. At the final, the paper provides a demo example to show the effect. Based on the piping routines described in this paper, more powerful shell interpreter with redirecting and piping functionalities as well as other shell commands analogous to that of embedded Linux can be implemented.
