Contemporary computer systems used in the industry are characterized by both an increase in the scale of supported industrial processes measured by the number of control devices and the increasing demand for information describing the underlying processes measured by the number of tags used in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Classical industrial data servers based on the PC architecture are unreliable, expensive to operate and difficult to manage. The alternative is a new standard OPC UA communication interface that simplifies the communication protocol and increases the flexibility of the process data description which allow for the direct implementation of OPC UA servers in embedded devices. This paper presents an innovative approaches in the field of industrial data servers which are used for communication between control systems and SCADA or MES systems. The prototype industrial data server architecture has been implemented, run and tested on the platform of embedded system based on FPGA matrix with built-in FPGA Microblaze processor. The presented experimental results allow to evaluate the applicability of the proposed solution, the limits of the presented architecture and may be used for the improvement of the embedded industrial data servers' structure in subsequent implementations.

In order to meet data acquisition mobility and convenient requirements of the portable ECG monitor, the data acquisition system of ECG with dual CPU is designed in this paper. The system, in which C8051F005 is master CPU, meanwhile ATmega168 is slave CPU, consists of analogical circuit for detecting of ECG, amplifier-filter circuit, A/D converter and SD memory card communication interface mainly. Experimental data shows that the system has such advantages such as good repeatability, high accuracy, quick response and excellent anti-interference. It can effectively detect and obtain electrical activity of the heart and cope with continuous large memory with SD memory card in embedded system. Strong background noises are eliminated effectively by multi-level amplifier and filter; Un-anamorphic ECG can be acquired and recorded synchronously in memory cards. Moreover, this paper also proposes a preprocessing algorithm for noise reduction so that it can reject the interference by respiration and surface EMG signal.

It has been stated in the literature thata test case that needs to be used for testing a distributed embedded system be decomposed into elementary level test cases that can be tested at different computing locations of the system as conducting testing considering entire distributed system is complex as the reliability of testing depends on the environment setting made at each of the location and also the complexity of the communication interface established at each of the distributed location. There should be strategy for conducting testing at each of the locations and comprehend the results to provide wholesome working position of entire distributed embedded systems.In this paper, a strategy has been presented that explain how the testing can be undertaken at individual locations using different test methods and how the results are joined such that the final test results reflects the state of testing a distributed embedded system.

This paper describes a embedded system,using ARM processor LPC2148 as the core of hardware,and using MQ series gas sensor as the detection component,and using ENC28J60 as the network communication interface,and using uc / OS-II real-time operating system as software platform for the real-time remote monitoring of density of harmful gases indoor.In this system,voltage signals from MQ sensor will be processed by the ARM micro-controller and be displayed in the LCD.Then they will be compared with the set voltage value.If they are greater than the set value,sound and light alarm will be touched off,and data will be transfered to the network through the ARM ENC28J6 network interface.Above all,the system is able to achieve accurate detection, alarm and remote monitoring indoor dangerous gases.

The development of an intelligent fault testing equipment for electrical system of a mechanized bridge is accomplished based on embedded system. This equipment consists of USB communication interface, data acquisition unit, intelligent fault diagnosis as well as maintenance and management function together with embedded microprocessor MSP 430. It can carry out data acquisition and condition monitoring with multiple operating parameters, such as voltage, current, resistor, frequency as well as other operating state values. The fault testing and diagnosis are automatically performed by the application of measured data, user input observation results that are represented by logical value, and the detection results of other testing equipment. In addition, The graphical user interface facilitates users measurement and observation till to the location of the fault parts, and subsequently help users make maintenance solution and scheme. So far, the detecting precision meets the requirements of fault testing of electrical system. The equipment has also benefits of handy structure, lightweight, low consumption, large storage capacity, excellent expandability and intelligent inference capability. It provides engineering vehicles, for instance mechanized bridge, with proper and dedicated intelligent monitoring, diagnosis and testing equipment. Meanwhile the work presents an important technical method for the technical support of the various engineering equipment in time of war.
