<P>Background: The cloud computing is the modern trend in high-performance computing. Cloud computing becomes very popular due to its characteristic of available anywhere, elasticity, ease of use, cost-effectiveness, etc. Though the cloud grants various benefits, it has associated issues and challenges to prevent the organizations to adopt the cloud. </P><P> Objective: The objective of this paper is to cover the several perspectives of Cloud Computing. This includes a basic definition of cloud, classification of the cloud based on Delivery and Deployment Model. The broad classification of the issues and challenges faced by the organization to adopt the cloud computing model are explored. Examples for the broad classification are Data Related issues in the cloud, Service availability related issues in cloud, etc. The detailed sub-classifications of each of the issues and challenges discussed. The example sub-classification of the Data Related issues in cloud shall be further classified into Data Security issues, Data Integrity issue, Data location issue, Multitenancy issues, etc. This paper also covers the typical problem of vendor lock-in issue. This article analyzed and described the various possible unique insider attacks in the cloud environment. </P><P> Results: The guideline and recommendations for the different issues and challenges are discussed. The most importantly the potential research areas in the cloud domain are explored. </P><P> Conclusion: This paper discussed the details on cloud computing, classifications and the several issues and challenges faced in adopting the cloud. The guideline and recommendations for issues and challenges are covered. The potential research areas in the cloud domain are captured. This helps the researchers, academicians and industries to focus and address the current challenges faced by the customers.</P>

The complexity of high-performance computing (HPC) workflows is an important issue in the provision of HPC cloud services in most national supercomputing centers. This complexity problem is especially critical because it affects HPC resource scalability, management efficiency, and convenience of use. To solve this problem, while exploiting the advantage of bare-metal-level high performance, container-based cloud solutions have been developed. However, various problems still exist, such as an isolated environment between HPC and the cloud, security issues, and workload management issues. We propose an architecture that reduces this complexity by using Docker and Singularity, which are the container platforms most often used in the HPC cloud field. This HPC cloud architecture integrates both image management and job management, which are the two main elements of HPC cloud workflows. To evaluate the serviceability and performance of the proposed architecture, we developed and implemented a platform in an HPC cluster experiment. Experimental results indicated that the proposed HPC cloud architecture can reduce complexity to provide supercomputing resource scalability, high performance, user convenience, various HPC applications, and management efficiency.

Due to fierce market competition, how to improve product quality and reduce development cost determines the core competitiveness of enterprises. However, design iteration generally causes increases of product cost and delays of development time as well, so how to identify and model couplings among tasks in product design and development has become an important issue for enterprises to settle. In this paper, the shortcomings existing in WTM model are discussed and tearing approach as well as inner iteration method is used to complement the classic WTM model. In addition, the ABC algorithm is also introduced to find out the optimal decoupling schemes. In this paper, firstly, tearing approach and inner iteration method are analyzed for solving coupled sets. Secondly, a hybrid iteration model combining these two technologies is set up. Thirdly, a high-performance swarm intelligence algorithm, artificial bee colony, is adopted to realize problem-solving. Finally, an engineering design of a chemical processing system is given in order to verify its reasonability and effectiveness.

In recent years, industrial sewing machine intelligence can be increased. Compared with the traditional equipment, the new generation of domestic equipment in the "high efficiency, energy saving, special" has realized great-leap-forward development. In the performance, will towards high precision, high efficiency, high performance, intelligent direction; in function, to the miniaturization, multi-function direction; in the program, to the systematic, integrated direction. The design and development of industrial sewing machine digitization design packaging platform are discussed.
