Este documento se centra en la investigación relacionada con varios beneficios del e-learning en el sistema educativo inteligente. Este artículo presenta un análisis teórico. La aplicación de la tecnología de Internet de las cosas (IoT) como un fenómeno prevalente está creciendo y desarrollándose rápidamente en el mundo de la computación ubicua y digital. Una de las aplicaciones más visibles del IoT como conceptos emergentes, es la educación y el sistema de aprendizaje. IoT debido a sus ramas exclusivas, como la conectividad permanente entre las cosas (receptores IP), está cambiando el esquema actual del e-learning y la versión anterior del sistema de aprendizaje. Se desarrolla un modelo teórico multidimensional del sistema de aprendizaje inteligente para analizar cómo el IoT puede actualizar radicalmente el sistema de aprendizaje mediante la participación del elemento de inteligencia en la estructura de aprendizaje electrónico. Este trabajo finalmente describe los mayores impactos del uso del IoT en la plataforma de e-learning. La inteligencia, la cadena conectada, el acceso ilimitado en línea al aula (plataforma) más grande del mundo, son elementos destacados entre otros componentes que están configurando los enfoques reales de aprendizaje electrónico en una forma novedosa, eficiente, de alto rendimiento, en tiempo real e inteligente. La conclusión se puede utilizar como tema central para el estudio futuro de los investigadores.

The 2019–2020 coronavirus pandemic had far-reaching consequences beyond the spread of the disease and efforts to cure it. Today, it is obvious that the pandemic devastated key sectors ranging from health to economy, culture, and education. As far as education is concerned, one direct result of the spread of the pandemic was the resort to suspending traditional in-person classroom courses and relying on remote learning and homeschooling instead, by exploiting e-learning technologies, but many challenges are faced by these technologies. Most of these challenges are centered around the efficiency of these delivery methods, interactivity, and knowledge testing. These issues raise the need to develop an advanced smart educational system that assists home-schooled students, provides teachers with a range of smart new tools, and enable a dynamic and interactive e-learning experience. Technologies like the Internet of things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI), including cognitive models and context-awareness, can be a driving force in the future of e-learning, opening many opportunities to overcome the limitation of the existing remote learning systems and provide an efficient reliable augmented learning experience. Furthermore, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), introduced in education as a way for asynchronous learning, can be a second driving force of future synchronous learning. The teacher and students can see each other in a virtual class even if they are geographically spread in a city, a country, or the globe. The main goal of this work is to design and provide a model supporting intelligent teaching assisting and engaging e-learning activity. This paper presents a new model, ViRICTA, an intelligent system, proposing an end-to-end solution with a stack technology integrating the Internet of things and artificial intelligence. The designed system aims to enable a valuable learning experience, providing an efficient, interactive, and proactive context-aware learning smart services.

Abstract Learning through the Web or training via e-learning is rising exponentially and is gradually preferred by conventional ways of education and training. This massive change is directly related to digital computer technological advancement. The transformation driven by innovation in computer technology has enhanced the reach of e-learning and education, making the process of sharing knowledge easy, clear, and efficient. The E-learning system relies on various success factors from several viewpoints, such as framework, organisational alignment, instructor, and student support. This paper aims to identify the critical barriers to the Internet of Thing implementation in e-learning and to establish a relational relationship between identified barriers using the Interpretive Structural Modelling approach. This paper has established some primary barriers that are useful for Internet of Things implementation in E-learning by research scholars and industrial practitioners. For the study of the driving force and dependency power of the E-learning barrier, Interpretive Structural Modelling methodology was used to classify interrelationships between barriers for improved understanding and relationships between these barriers, and Management Cross Impact Multiplications were conducted to estimate the magnitude of these relationships. Applied to classification analysis, which is used for analysing the driving power and dependence power of E-learning barriers.

The City

Internet of Things (IoT) is part of digital literacy that its function is undeniable when people are today obsessed more to social media and gadgets. IoT is greatly potential to support education field, especially in facilitating teachers. However, with all functions it has, IoT is not well mastered by many teachers in the city of Makassar. The issue is mainly because teachers are not well literate to IT. Therefore, it is significant to provide teachers with some trainings or workshops. Thus, this community service is projected to improve teachers’ competence in the use of IoT so that they will be life-long learners in the future. The ability to be life-long learner is one of the indicators to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This community service has resulted in several outputs, they are: 1) teachers are equipped with the ability to use IoT and e-learning software, 2) the scoring results reveal that this community service has the average score of 4,67 (good criteria).
