This work introduces a development of scrolling LED notice board with self-generating power from built in solar panel for its working. The main advantage of the project is to get a major reduction in paper consumption and manpower. The messages can also be passed immediately without any delay. Scrolling LED display is used as it is low power and low cost. The led Display System is aimed at the colleges and universities for displaying day-to-day information continuously or at regular intervals during the working hours.

By using low-power Toshiba microcomputer TMP86FH09ANG and capacitive touch-detecting chip CY8C21534, a control and display system of infrared cooker was designed. Its input and output are touch-sensitive buttons and LED respectively. The chip CY8C21534 can sense any changes of the capacitance of the touch-sensitive buttons. According to keyboard inputs, the corresponding operations such as power on/off, plate selection, fire adjustment, timing and child locker can be realized. The diagram of hardware circuit is presented in detail, and the software functions are introduced. This design can be reference to the development of related products.

ADI’s Blackfin561 has powerful image processing capabilities and a dedicated parallel peripheral interface. LCD has many advantages such as small size, light weight and low power consumption. In this paper, by the way of the progressive scan for LCD, BF561 LCD screen of the interface drivers are researched. Finally, through the operating systerm of uClinux, LCD image display system is designed.

This paper described a new system for small LED display, which was based on the computer and MCU master-slave structure. The focus of host computer design is the extraction of Chinese characters dot-matrix data and the transmission of information using infrared serial communication. The lower computer has already accomplished dynamic LED display design with LPC900 series single-chip and the hardware drive circuit of LED display. The LED display system possessed a high performance-price ratio, and could be widely used in automated instrumentation panel and sensor online shows. This system also gets other extraordinary characters like small size (45×80×3mm3), light weight, low (power) consumption, and simple operation and so on.
