This paper presents a prototypical, Web based data conversion framework and its underlying data representation principles which allow conversions from and to any data format. Therefore, a data model is proposed which allows storing values of arbitrary types, including inter-data dependencies and meta information. Furthermore, an Extensible Markup Language (XML) based model to describe data formats is provided which allows specifying programs to convert data represented in existing formats both from and to the proposed data model. It will be shown that these programs are Turing complete, thus allowing the same arbitrarily complex conversions which are possible with Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT) or the C programming language. Finally, the components of a prototypical Web based implementation in form of a validator, a data converter and a data generator are described. In combination with a data editor, parts of this prototypical implementation are already employed in several use cases in the industry and other research projects to transform data between different formats.

One of the most common tasks in a typical analysis lab is the recording of images. Many analytical techniques (TEM, SEM, and metallography for example) produce images as their primary output. Until recently, the most common method of recording images was by using film. Current PS/2R systems offer very large capacity data storage devices and high resolution displays, making it practical to work with analytical images on PS/2s, thereby sidestepping the traditional film and darkroom steps. This change in operational mode offers many benefits: cost savings, throughput, archiving and searching capabilities as well as direct incorporation of the image data into reports. The conventional way to record images involves film, either sheet film (with its associated wet chemistry) for TEM or PolaroidR film for SEM and light microscopy. Although film is inconvenient, it does have the highest quality of all available image recording techniques. The fine grained film used for TEM has a resolution that would exceed a 4096x4096x16 bit digital image.

The process of moving to a fully digital microscopy laboratory requires changes in instrumentation, computing hardware, computing software, data storage systems, and data networks, as well as in the operating procedures of each facility. Moving from analog to digital systems in the microscopy laboratory is similar to the instrumentation projects being undertaken in many scientific labs. A central problem of any of these projects is to create the best combination of hardware and software to effectively control the parameters of data collection and then to actually acquire data from the instrument. This problem is particularly acute for the microscopist who wishes to "digitize" the operation of a transmission or scanning electron microscope. Although the basic physics of each type of instrument and the type of data (images & spectra) generated by each are very similar, each manufacturer approaches automation differently. The communications interfaces vary as well as the command language used to control the instrument.

Summary Objectives: Many shared-care projects feel the need for electronic patient-record (EPR) systems. In absence of practical experiences from paper record keeping, a theoretical model is the only reference for the design of these systems. In this article, we review existing models of individual clinical practice and integrate their useful elements. We then present a generic model of clinical practice that is applicable to both individual and collaborative clinical practice. Methods: We followed the principles of the conversation-for-action theory and the DEMO method. According to these principles, information can only be generated by a conversation between two actors. An actor is a role that can be played by one or more human subjects, so the model does not distinguish between inter-individual and intra-individual conversations. Results: Clinical practice has been divided into four actors: service provider, problem solver, coordinator, and worker. Each actor represents a level of clinical responsibility. Any information in the patient record is the result of a conversation between two of these actors. Connecting different conversations to one another can create a process view with meta-information about the rationale of clinical practice. Such process view can be implemented as an extension to the EPR. Conclusions: The model has the potential to cover all professional activities, but needs to be further validated. The model can serve as a theoretical basis for the design of EPR-systems for shared care, but a successful EPR-system needs more than just a theoretical model.

Kata kunci— sistem penjualan, incremental, Internet of Things (IoT), produk pertanian, Kabupaten Bogor Abstract Internet of things (IoT) is a concept that connects computers and electronic devices via the internet and can be controlled remotely. The main concept in Internet of things (IoT) is information systems, internet connections and data storage in cloud computing. This concept has great benefits in the efforts and efforts used to use IoT to be able to compete in the market. Indonesia is a country that is blessed with abundant natural resources. One of the leading commodities is agricultural products. This study aims to help farmers market their products through e-commerce using the IoT Internet of things concept. Research method using incremental method. Incremental to design the product, then implemented, and gradually delay (each module will be added gradually) until the product is finished. The results of this study are to help farmers in Bogor Regency to distribute sales widely, increase revenue and break the sales process. Keywords—sales system, incremental, Internet of Things (IoT), agricultural products, Kabupaten Bogor

Cardiovascular disease is one of the major diseases that threaten the human health. But the existing electrocardiograph (ECG) monitoring system has many limitations in practical application. In order to monitor ECG in real time, a portable ECG monitoring system based on the Android platform is developed to meet the needs of the public. The system uses BMD101 ECG chip to collect and process ECG signals in the Android system, where data storage and waveform display of ECG data can be realized. The Bluetooth HC-07 module is used for ECG data transmission. The abnormal ECG can be judged by P wave, QRS bandwidth, and RR interval. If abnormal ECG is found, an early warning mechanism will be activated to locate the user’s location in real time and send preset short messages, so that the user can get timely treatment, avoiding dangerous occurrence. The monitoring system is convenient and portable, which brings great convenie to the life of ordinary cardiovascular users.

Cloud is an emerging technology that stores the necessary data and electronic form of data is produced in gigantic quantity. It is vital to maintain the efficacy of this data the need of data recovery services is highly essential. Cloud computing is anticipated as the vital foundation for the creation of IT enterprise and it is an impeccable solution to move databases and application software to big data centers where managing data and services is not completely reliable. Our focus will be on the cloud data storage security which is a vital feature when it comes to giving quality service. It should also be noted that cloud environment comprises of extremely dynamic and heterogeneous environment and because of high scale physical data and resources, the failure of data centre nodes is completely normal. Therefore, cloud environment needs effective adaptive management of data replication to handle the indispensable characteristic of the cloud environment. Disaster recovery using cloud resources is an attractive approach and data replication strategy which attentively helps to choose the data files for replication and the strategy proposed tells dynamically about the number of replicas and effective data nodes for replication. Thus, the objective of future algorithm is useful to help users together the information from a remote location where network connectivity is absent and secondly to recover files in case it gets deleted or wrecked because of any reason. Even, time oriented problems are getting resolved so in less time recovery process is executed.
