Since learning represents one of the most relevant aspects of a humans’ life on which many researches have been conducted, nowadays more than ever it is essential exploring forward-looking theories, achieving inspiring improvements and making an action towards innovation within the educational systems. The qualitative-explorative pilot case study at issue aims to investigate a potential connection between Experience and Multiple Intelligences in relation to the linguistic and personal learning process. Specifically, its main goal is to draw a better understanding of students’ perception on the impact of past living-studying experiences and multidimensional teaching techniques on their linguistic and personal growth. To further investigate these objectives, there have been analysed 33 qualitative feedback from academical students studying languages collected through an inductive reasoning-based online survey structured as written interview and composed by closed-ended multiple choice questions, open-ended questions and ranking questions. The major findings claim that both living and studying abroad contributes to acquire metalinguistic awareness, to improve language skills and to develop life-long skills. Additionally, students recognised the implementation of Multiple Intelligence as an effective alternative to lectures as language teaching-learning strategy thanks to its flexibility and openness towards skills diversity.

The concept of Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is one of the highlighted aspects in producing human capital of high quality. However, the level of HOTS among students in Malaysia is still at a lower stage. Among the causes of this problem is the learning strategy used in classroom, which is less effective in creating and enhancing HOTS optimally. Therefore, the main focus in this study was to investigate the potential role of an inductive reasoning strategy using Geogebra in increasing the students’ level of HOTS. Besides, it also aimed to identify the relationship between HOTS and students’ inductive reasoning for the topic of Graphs of Functions II. The design of study was quasi-experimental which involved 94 form-four students from a secondary school in Johor. The sample of this study was divided into three groups: (1) Treatment Group 1 (inductive reasoning strategy using Geogebra); Treatment Group 2 (inductive reasoning strategy); and (3) a control group (conventional). The instrument of the study comprised a set of HOTS questions and a worksheet based on an inductive reasoning strategy using Geogebra. Using the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA), it was found that the overall HOTS level of the students, which included applying, analysing, evaluating and creating skills, could be enhanced through this strategy. The findings also show that there was a positive relationship between HOTS and inductive reasoning. In conclusion, an inductive reasoning strategy can provide positive impacts on students’ HOTS in the topic of Graphs of Functions II

The purpose of this research are to know (1) the influence using REACT learning strategy about increase student’s mathematical inductive reasoning skills, and (2) the influence using REACT learning strategy about increase student’s studying motivation. Population of this research was the students grade VIII of SMP. The sample was 34 students as the experimental class that given treatment REACT learning  and 31student as the control class with expository learning. Data collection in this study by using test and questionnaire techniques. Data were analyzed by using t test. The result of the research showed that 1) the value of sig 0,03 <0,05 meaning that there is influence of applying of REACT learning to improvement of mathematical inductive reasoning ability of student of class VIII SMP, (2) sig value 0,041 <0,05 meaning that there is influence of application of REACT learning to increase motivation learn math class VIII SMP.
