The signal integrity (SI) analysis of a high-speed signal interconnect channel composed of through silicon vias (TSVs) and horizontal re-distribution layers (RDL) is carried out, and the problems of SI, such as transmission loss, crosstalk and coupling effect in the transmission channel, are analyzed and studied. These signal integrity issues are considered in this paper, a signal interconnect channel model is proposed and the equivalent circuit model is deduced as well. Compared with the traditional one, this interconnect channel model has better performance in SI. Further sweep frequency analysis is carried out for different material parameters to achieve signal transmission performance optimization aimed at this model. Test samples of the proposed signal interconnect channel model are designed and fabricated according to the process index, and measured to verify the actual transmission performance. The design and optimization rule of high-speed signal interconnect channel are summarized which proved that the proposed structure has more advantages in signal transmission performance, and has important guiding significance for practical design.

A new method of wireless data telemetry used by oil industry uses compressional acoustic waves to transmit downhole information from the bottom hole to the surface. Unfortunately, acoustic echoes and drilling vibration noises in periodic drillstring are a major issue in transmission performance. A combined acoustic echo and noise suppression method based on wave motion characteristic in drillstring is adopted to enhance an upward-going transmitted acoustic signal. The presented scheme consists of a primary acoustic echo canceller using an array of two accelerometers for dealing with the downward-going noises and a secondary acoustic insulation structure for restraining the upward-going vibration noises. Furthermore, the secondary acoustic insulation structure exhibits a banded and dispersive spectral structure because of periodic groove configuration. By using a finite-differential algorithm for the one-dimensional propagation of longitudinal waves, acoustic receiving characteristics of transmitted signals are simulated with additive Gaussian noise in a periodic pipe structure of limited length to investigate the effects on transmission performance optimization. The results reveal that the proposed scheme can achieve a much lower error bit ratio over a specified acoustic isolation frequency range with a 30–40 dB reduction in the average noise level compared to traditional single-receiver scheme.

Under the development trend of high throughput, large capacity and strong time effective data security transmission of the second generation data relay system in China, the high-performance processing requirements for the firewall of the backbone network security protection equipment are constantly improving. Focusing on the characteristics of the second generation data relay system, the key technologies of the transmission processing of the 10 Gigabit firewall based on the x86 architecture for different data flows are researched, the optimization design of the CPU allocation and scheduling mode, the function judgment mechanism of the network card characteristics and the kernel state write operation function of the 10 Gigabit firewall are completed. The test results show that the optimized 10 Gigabit firewall gives full play to its maximum transmission performance, and provides a better security transmission service guarantee for the integrated data relay users.
