In recent decades, the communication of electronic equipment and physical resources is combined. Internet of Things (IoT) distributes things widely in the network. The IoT is Internet-based pervasive computing, which created significant development in the recent disposition of IoT infrastructures. The IoT infrastructures lead, manage and generate large amounts of data across various applications including environmental, transportation and healthcare monitoring. In this regard, there are salient uncertainties about the use of security concepts that are frequently measured as a major concern of IoT distributed architecture design. This paper mainly focuses on the classification of IoT, novel architecture considering the sensitivity of data, IoT security layers, review of security issues and acclaimed countermeasures.

With the increasing diffusion of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, the transportation of goods sector is in a position to adopt novel intelligent services that cut across the otherwise highly fragmented and heterogeneous market, which today consists of a myriad of actors. Legacy systems that rely upon direct integration between all actors involved in the transportation ecosystem face considerable challenges for information sharing. Meanwhile, IoT based services, which are designed as devices that follow goods and communicate directly to cloud-based backend systems, may provide services that previously were not available. For the purposes of this paper, we present a theoretical framework for classification of such intelligent goods systems based on a literature study. The framework, labelled as the Intelligent Goods Service (IGS) framework, aims at increasing the understanding of the actors, agents, and services involved in an intelligent goods system, and to facilitate system comparisons and the development of new innovative solutions. As an illustration of how the IGS framework can be used and contribute to research in this area, we provide an example from a direct industry–academia collaboration.

The advent of Internet-of-Things (IoT) is creating an ecosystem of smart applications and services enabled by a multitude of sensors. The real value of these IoT smart applications comes from analyzing the information provided by these sensors. Information fusion improves information completeness/quality and, hence, enhances estimation about the state of things. Lack of trust and therefore, malicious activities renders the information fusion process and hence, IoT smart applications unreliable. Behavior-related issues associated with the data sources, such as trustworthiness, honesty, and accuracy, must be addressed before fully utilizing these smart applications. In this article, we argue that behavior trust modeling is indispensable to the success of information fusion and, hence, to smart applications. Unfortunately, the area is still in its infancy and needs further research to enhance information fusion. The aim of this article is to raise the awareness and the need of behavior trust modelling and its effect on information fusion. Moreover, this survey describes IoT architectures for modelling trust as well as classification of current IoT trust models. Finally, we discuss future directions towards trustworthy reliable fusion techniques.

The cloud manufacturing (CloudM) resource access solution of Internet of Things (IOT) application was discussed. According to resource access requirements, a kind of CloudM resource access architecture based on IOT was described, as well as several key technologies in the architecture. Several key issues such as classification of resource information accesses, access processes were studied. Related explanations about QoS information expanding, manufacturing capacity information constructing, EPC information collection were illustrated. With magnetic bearing as an example, its conceptual information model and QoS expanded information described by PML were given.
