The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C5H6N3O2 +·ClO4 −·2C5H5N3O2·H2O, comprises two symmetry-independent zwitterions, one cation, one perchlorate anion and one water molecule. In the crystal, the three different types of organic entities are linked by N—H...O and N—H...N hydrogen bonds, forming undulating sheets parallel to (1-10). These sheets are in turn connected by O—H...N and O—H...O hydrogen bonds involving perchlorate anions and water molecules, forming a three-dimensional network. Intramolecular N—H...O and weak intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds are also present.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C6H20N3)[BiCl6]·H2O, consists of a triprotonated bis(3-azaniumylpropyl)azanium cation, two halves of an octahedral [BiCl6]3−anion, each of the BiIIIatoms lying on an inversion centre, and a water molecule. In the crystal, the anions and water molecules are linked by O—H...Cl hydrogen bonds, forming chains running parallel to [0-11]. The anionic chains and the cations are further linked into a three-dimensional network by N—H...Cl and N—H...O hydrogen-bond interactions.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, 2,4,6-triamino-1,3,5-triazin-1-ium cyanoacetate monohydrate, C3H7N6 +·NCCH2COO−·H2O, consists of a melaminium cation, a cyanoacetate anion and a water molecule, which are connected to each other via N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, generating an eight-membered ring. In the crystal, the melaminium cations are connected by two pairs of N—H...N hydrogen bonds, forming tapes along [110]. These tapes develop a three-dimensional network through N—H...O, O—H...O, N—H...N and C—H...O hydrogen bonds between the cations, anions and water molecules.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C15H15N3O3·0.5H2O, comprises two 2-{[(4-iminiumyl-3-methyl-1,4-dihydropyridin-1-yl)methyl]carbamoyl}benzoate zwitterions (AandB) and a water molecule. The dihedral angles between the pyridine and phenyl rings in the zwitterions are 53.69 (10) and 73.56 (11)° inAandB, respectively. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N—H...O, O—H...O, C—H...O and C—H...π(ring) hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network. The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Fe(NCS)2(C6H4N2)2(H2O)2]·2C6H4N2, comprises one FeIIcation occupying an inversion centre as well as one thiocyanate anion, one water molecule and two 4-cyanopyridine molecules in general positions. The iron cations are coordinated by two N-bonded thiocyanate anions, two (pyridine)N-bonded 4-cyanopyridine ligands and two water molecules into discrete complexes. The resulting coordination polyhedron can be described as a slightly distorted octahedron. The discrete complexes are connected through centrosymmetric pairs of (pyridine)C—H...N(cyano) hydrogen bonds into chains that are further linked into a three-dimensional network through intermolecular O—H...N hydrogen bonds involving the 4-cyanopyridine solvent molecules.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C10H8N6·2H2O, comprises half the organic species, the molecule being completed by inversion symmetry, and one water molecule. The dihedral angle between the 1,2,4-triazole ring and the central benzene ring is 32.2 (2)°. The water molecules form O—H...N hydrogen bonds with N-atom acceptors of the triazole rings. C—H...N hydrogen bonds are also observed, giving a three-dimensional framework.

In the title compound, C4H12N2 2+·HAsO4 2−·H2O, the component species interact by way of N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, the latter leading to infinite sheets of HAsO4 2− anions and water molecules containing R 6 6(18) loops. The asymmetric unit contains one anion, one water molecule and half each of two centrosymmetric cations.

In the title compound, C8H9N4S+·Cl−·H2O, the cation is approximately planar, with a dihedral angle of 7.71 (8)° between the mean planes of the benzoimidazole ring system and the thiourea unit. In the crystal, cations, anions and water molecules of crystallization are linked by O—H...Cl, N—H...O, N—H...Cl and N—H...S hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network. π–π stacking is observed between the benzene and imidazole rings of neighbouring molecules, the centroid–centroid distance being 3.5774 (11) Å.

One N atom in 2,2′-bipyridine is unprotonated, while the second is protonated and forms an N—H...O hydrogen bond. In the crystal, the anions are connected with surrounding acid molecules and water molecules by strong near-linear O—H...O hydrogen bonds. The water molecules are located between the anions and oxalic acids; their O atoms participate as donors and acceptors, respectively, in O—H...O hydrogen bonds, which form sheets arranged parallel to the ac plane.
