Abstract We describe the on-shell method to derive the Renormalization Group (RG) evolution of Wilson coefficients of high dimensional operators at one loop, which is a necessary part in the on-shell construction of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT), and exceptionally efficient based on the amplitude basis in hand. The UV divergence is obtained by firstly calculating the coefficients of scalar bubble integrals by unitary cuts, then subtracting the IR divergence in the massless bubbles, which can be easily read from the collinear factors we obtained for the Standard Model fields. Examples of deriving the anomalous dimensions at dimension six are presented in a pedagogical manner. We also give the results of contributions from the dimension-8 H4D4 operators to the running of V+V−H2 operators, as well as the running of B+B−H2D2n from H4D2n+4 for general n.

In this paper, we study the [Formula: see text] form-factors with the light-cone QCD sum rules, where the B-meson light-cone distribution amplitudes are used. In calculations, we observe that the line-shapes of the B-meson light-cone distribution amplitude ϕ+(ω) have significant impacts on the values of the form-factors, and expect to obtain severe constraints on the parameters of the B-meson light-cone distribution amplitudes from the experimental data in the future.

Abstract We discuss the generalization of the leading-twist light-cone distribution amplitude for light mesons including QED effects. This generalization was introduced to describe virtual collinear photon exchanges at the strong-interaction scale ΛQCD in the factorization of QED effects in non-leptonic B-meson decays. In this paper we study the renormalization group evolution of this non-perturbative function. For charged mesons, in particular, this exhibits qualitative differences with respect to the well-known scale evolution in QCD only, especially regarding the endpoint-behaviour. We analytically solve the evolution equation to first order in the electromagnetic coupling αem, which resums large logarithms in QCD on top of a fixed-order expansion in αem. We further provide numerical estimates for QED corrections to Gegenbauer coefficients as well as inverse moments relevant to (QED-generalized) factorization theorems for hard exclusive processes.
