It is shown that QCD sum rules in the planar limit lead to a certain relation between four important quantities: ρ-meson mass, weak π-meson decay constant, quark and gluon condensates. As a byproduct an explanation for the dominance of ρρ-decay for the f0(1370)-meson is proposed.

The investigation of mesons in hot medium can give valuable information about the nature of QCD vacuum and deconfinement phase transitions. In this study, thermal properties of pseudotensor K2(1820) meson is examined via QCD sum rules at finite temperature. The mass and the decay constant of K2(1820) are estimated up to dimension-five by considering the new operators emerging at finite temperature. It is seen that after a certain temperature, the decay constant and the mass decrease significantly due to the hot medium effects.

Within the framework of the light-cone QCD sum rules method (LCSR’s), the radiative Δ(1600)→γN decay is studied. In particular, the magnetic dipole moment GM1(0) and the electric quadrupole moment GE1(0) are estimated. We also calculate the ratio REM=−GE1(0)GM1(0) and the decay rate. The predicted multipole moments and the decay rate strongly agree with the existing experimental results as well as with the other available phenomenological approaches.
