In two-Higgs-doublet models with exact [Formula: see text] symmetry, putting [Formula: see text] at the alignment limit, the following limits on the heavy scalar masses are obtained from the conditions of unitarity and stability of the scalar potential: [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. The constraints from [Formula: see text] and neutral meson mass differences, when superimposed on the unitarity constraints, put a tighter lower limit on [Formula: see text] depending on [Formula: see text]. It has also been shown that larger values of [Formula: see text] can be allowed by introducing soft breaking term in the potential at the expense of a correlation between [Formula: see text] and the soft breaking parameter.

In the study of CP violation asymmetry in CPLEAR, the decay rate of neutral meson is normalized and its experimental analysis has been well established, while normalization effect has been considered in B physics. After investigation on the normalization effect in BABAR, we conclude that it can be justified to neglect this effect due to the suppressed decays that are contributed from both B0and [Formula: see text].

In this work, we overhaul previous studies of Flavor Changing Neutral Current processes in the context of the Reduced Minimal 3-3-1 (RM331) model. We sift the individual contributions from the CP-even scalars and the Z′ gauge boson using two different parametrizations schemes and compare our results with current measurements. In particular, studying the [Formula: see text] meson system we find the most stringent bounds in the literature on this model, namely [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text].
