IfX(3872)is described by the picture as a mixture of the charmonium and molecularD*Dstates;Y(3940)as a mixture of theχc0andD*D*states; andY(4260)as a mixture of the tetraquark and charmonium states, their orthogonal combinations should also exist. We estimate the mass and residues of the states within the QCD sum rules method. We find that the mass splitting amongX, Yand their orthogonal states is at most 200 MeV. Experimental search of these new states can play critical role for establishing the nature of the new charmonium states.

New relations between QCD Borel sum rules for masses of Σ0 and Λ hyperons are constructed. It is shown that starting from the sum rule for the Σ0 hyperon mass it is straightforward to obtain the corresponding sum rule for the Λ hyperon mass and vice versa.

For the low-energy approximation of QCD, the extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model has been used. Quarks interact with an external homogeneous color-magnetic field, simulating the contribution of the gluon condensate. The value of the gluon condensate, needed to reach the correct value of the quark condensate, is determined and agrees well with the value obtained from QCD sum rules.

We study the Λ b ( 6146 ) 0 and Λ b ( 6152 ) 0 recently observed by LHCb using the method of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. Our results suggest that they can be interpreted as D-wave bottom baryons of J P = 3 / 2 + and 5 / 2 + respectively, both of which contain two λ -mode excitations. We also investigate other possible assignments containing ρ -mode excitations. We extract all the parameters that are necessary to study their decay properties when using the method of light-cone sum rules. We predict masses of their strangeness partners to be m Ξ b ( 3 / 2 + ) = 6.26 − 0.14 + 0.11 GeV and m Ξ b ( 5 / 2 + ) = 6.26 − 0.14 + 0.11 GeV with the mass splitting Δ M = m Ξ b ( 5 / 2 + ) − m Ξ b ( 3 / 2 + ) = 4.5 − 1.5 + 1.9 MeV, and propose to search for them in future CMS, EIC, and LHCb experiments.
