Using the effective Lagrangian formalism, the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments of the tau-lepton in the [Formula: see text] process are investigated with the future muon collider where [Formula: see text], 3 and 6 TeV. In addition, the bounds at the 95% confidence level on the dipole moments of the tau-lepton are estimated using different integrated luminosities. It is shown that the [Formula: see text] process leads to a remarkable improvement in the existing experimental bounds on the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments of the tau-lepton [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] at 95% C.L. for [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text].

We study the charged lepton electric dipole moment which is induced by the scalar unparticle mediation and we predict the appropriate range for the free parameters appearing in the effective Lagrangian which drives the unparticle-standard model lepton interactions. We observe that the charged lepton electric dipole moment is strongly sensitive to the scaling dimension du of the unparticle and the new couplings in the effective interaction. Furthermore, we see that the current experimental limits of charged lepton electric dipole moments can ensure an appropriate range for these free parameters.

Abstract Electric dipole moments are sensitive probes of new phases in the Higgs Yukawa couplings. We calculate the complete two-loop QCD anomalous dimension matrix for the mixing of CP-odd scalar and tensor operators and apply our results for a phenomenological study of CP violation in the bottom and charm Yukawa couplings. We find large shifts of the induced Wilson coefficients at next-to-leading-logarithmic order. Using the experimental bound on the electric dipole moments of the neutron and mercury, we update the constraints on CP-violating phases in the bottom and charm quark Yukawas.

General classical equation of spin motion is explicitly derived for a particle with magnetic and electric dipole moments in electromagnetic fields. Equation describing the spin motion relative to the momentum direction in storage rings is also obtained.
