Soft gluon corrections for Higgs boson production at hadron colliders are calculated. It is found that the soft gluon contributions for the Higgs boson production via gluon fusion process is large and it cannot be neglected even at SSC energy. Some qualitative discussions for the QCD corrections to the Higgs boson production at hadron colliders and their background processes are presented for various Higgs boson mass cases.

We estimate soft-gluon corrections generated by π2 terms in the production of pairs of scalar leptoquarks in hadron collisions. These particles appear naturally in a superstring inspred E6 model and can be produced through quark–antiquark annihilation and gluon fusion with or without Yukawa interactions.
