Dynamical breaking of chiral symmetry in QCD is a potential source of CP violation in the flavor diagonal Higgs sector of the standard model and can lead to a neutron electric dipole moment of the size reported in recent experiments, provided the mass of the Higgs is constrained by m H ≲42 GeV .
