The total neutron cross section of 11Β has been measured from 7.2 to 8.4 MeV. The analysis of all data from the 8Li(α,n0)11Β reaction in combination with the total cross section data can determine an upper limit on the stellar reaction rate of the 8Li(a,n)11Β reaction.

The halo structures in some light nuclei are investigated systemically with the nuclear asymptotic normalization coefficient (ANC) method and the relativistic mean-field (RMF) theory. Some important results about the halo structures in mirror nuclei are obtained, and some qualitative analyses are made to explore the role of Coulomb effects on the formation of proton halo nuclei.

The results of the analysis of the new experimental astrophysical S factors Sexp24(E) [D. Trezzi, et al., Astropart. Phys. 89, 57 (2017)] and those measured earlier [R. G. Robertson, et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 47, 1867 (1981)] for the nuclear-astrophysical d(α,γ)6Li reaction directly measured at extremely low energies E, are presented. New estimates and their uncertainties have been obtained for values of the asymptotic normalization coefficient for α + γ → 6Li and for the direct astrophysical S factors at Big Bang energies.
