The magnetization curves of Ag-sheathed Bi2223 superconducting tape were measured over the temperature range from 1.5 K to 60 K for magnetic field parallel to the c-axis. The ln (ΔM) decreases linearly with B for B < B1, where B is the magnetic induction and B1 is a constant. In the ln (ΔM/ΔM0) versus B/B0 plot, the data fall on a single curve for all temperatures, where ΔM0 and B0 are constants. The results were interpreted within the framework of flux creep model, and the activation energy is assumed to be a nonlinear function of current density.
