AbstractGreen’s function theory is applied to an alternating two-element multilayer ferromagnetic film. The Hamiltonian is based on the Heisenberg model with a second-order uniaxial single-ion anisotropy and with the interaction between the layer in the interfaces. Magnetization and the phase transition in such system are derived for several sets of material parameters.

The Monte Carlo simulation of magnetic properties of spin-valve sandwich structures, where ultrathin ferromagnetic films divided by layer of nonmagnetic metal, and antiferromagnetic, are coupled antiferromagnetically, is realized. The anisotropic Heisenberg model is applied for description of magnetic properties. Dependence of hysteresis phenomena on thickness of ferromagnetic films and various values of interlayer exchange interaction is revealed.
