Simulation approaches generally fall into two categories: discrete time or discrete event. For military modeling and simulation needs, the two approaches typically align with virtual simulation, which implies human interaction with the simulation program, and constructive simulation, which implies no human interaction. The Air Force Research Laboratory develops and distributes AFSIM (Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling) to a user community that uses both virtual and constructive simulation. This paper documents the software design and primary algorithms that provide AFSIM’s support for both modes, which is termed a hybrid simulation.

The article introduces the design of the half-bridge switching and regulated power supply system which is based on PWM. The design mainly consists of regulated power supply’s structure of basic hardware circuit, its working principles and the process of modeling simulation and software design. The control circuit controls SG3525 chip to output PWM wave through the Microprocessor Control Unit (MCU) of AT89C51 and drives IGBT through the chip of EXB841 as well. The MCU is also used to realize the keyboard process and controls of the pulse width and frequency. Taking advantage of Simulink (dynamic simulation Toolbox) and SimPowerSysterm (power simulation Toolbox) of MATLAB, it simulates the designed regulated power supply. According to the simulation result of this design, the system has high stability and good output waveform. The operation of the design is simple and clear with less software operation and higher speed.

Research and design an intelligent bed and chair integration system for assisting inconvenient mobility and aging population. The system consists of a removable detached wheelchair and a c-shaped bed with a fixed structure. The user can switch freely between the mobile wheelchair and the bed to meet the user's requirements of free movement and repositioning.Through the simulation software to analyze the movement characteristics of the bed backboard, the angle of the take-off and landing of the backboard and the sudden change of the take-off and abrupt angular velocity will cause the user to have dizziness and discomfort. In the case of determining the speed of the driving push rod, the relationship between mechanism parameters and installation parameters is the key to affect the lifting rate of the rear plate. Modeling and analysis of each mechanism is performed to determine the relationship between the mechanism parameters and the take-off and landing speed of the backplane. After optimizing the mechanism, the simulation is compared again to obtain the optimal solution. Finally, the optimal solution parameter is the final solution to improve the overall comfort of the nursing bed.

To fulfill the requirements of processing, analysis and inversing the observational data of experimentations, simulation software for the inversion of satellite experimentations is designed and developed independently on the developing platform of Qt, based on satellite observational data inverse theory. It provides a simulation and calculation platform for analysis and evaluation of space tests. By using dynamics principle and energy conservation principle, the software resolves inverse problems in satellite orbital dynamics. This article mainly presents the function and design method of the software, explains the design goals, shows the overall design framework, and emphasizes key technologies and countermeasures in process of the software design and realization. The software could be used to investigate the inversion of observational data and evaluate technologic indexes in satellite tests.
