It is generally accepted that coevolution between soil and plant has great significance for the sustainable development of mining dumps in fragile eco-environment. However, this was not very clear in opencast mine area located in Western China. Based on comprehensive index systems and a combination of subjective and objective weighting method, a coupling coordination degree model, including comprehensive evaluation function, coupling degree and coupling coordination degree, was established to find the ‘short plank’ of different reclamation patterns and to quantify the status quo of coevolution between soil and plant systems in mined plots. The results indicated that only the plot with Pinus tabuliformis was under synchronous development, a mixed model of Robinia pseudoacacia – Pi. tabuliformis and R. pseudoacacia monoculture were developed with vegetation lagging, while plots R. pseudoacacia – Ulmus pumila – Ailanthus altissima and original landform were soil lagged. All plots were in the state of primary and intermediate coordination. Thus, some effective measures should be taken for the further development in different patterns.

Energy, economy and ecological environment complement each other. The coupling and coordination development of them would provide basis for the rational use of energy, economic development, and the protection and restoration of the ecological environment. In this study, the coupling and coordination development of the Australian energy, economy, and ecological environment from 2007 to 2016 were quantitatively investigated by constructing a coupling coordination model based on coupling theory. Results showed that: (1) Australia’s comprehensive evaluation index of energy, economy, and ecological environment exhibited an increasing trend. The rising trend of the energy index was obvious, the economy was relatively stable, and the comprehensive evaluation index of the ecological environment strongly fluctuated. (2) The development of energy and the economy, and that of energy and the ecological environment were gradually coordinated, and many unbalanced development patterns were found between the economy and the ecological environment. (3) Four types of coordination were observed in the three subsystems, among them, the barely coordinated categories repeated most often and the coordination degree of the three subsystems tended to grow from the global perspective. Energy, economy, and ecological environment interacted, limited, and promoted one another to form a complex system, through proper coordination, these three subsystems can jointly promote the sustainable development of society in Australia.

With the increase in severe environmental problems associated with fossil fuel vehicles, the development of Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs) has led to their promotion and use in Chinese provinces and cities. The comprehensive evaluation of competitiveness of the AFV industry in Chinese cities is beneficial to analyse the effects and relationships of different factors to promote the sustainable development of the AFV industry and guide the growth paths of the cities. An industrial competitiveness evaluation index system is established based on the characteristics of AFVs, and the development of the AFV industry in ten typical cities in China is comprehensively evaluated based on the Grey Relative Analysis (GRA) Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to the Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) methods. To evaluate the results, the entropy weighting method is used for the weight distribution, and the industrial competitiveness rankings of ten cities are obtained by the entropy-GRA, TOPSIS, PCA (EGTP) method. The results show that Beijing is ranked first, followed by Shanghai, and Qingdao is ranked last. By analysing the correlation between the evaluation methods and indicators, it is found that EGTP has a high correlation with the other three evaluation methods, which proves the rationality of the weighted linear combination of GRA and the other three methods. Indices C5 (pure electric car proportion) and C13 (average concentration of PM2.5) were outliers due to the small number of samples.

This paper analyzes the status and the specific implementation problems of sustainable development of regional electricity enterprises in domestic and foreign. It demonstrates the importance of sustainable development of regional electricity enterprises in market. In order to more reasonably evaluate the importance, this article concludes an evaluation index system which is about sustainable development of the regional electricity enterprises, and a comprehensive evaluation model which is based on rough sets and support vector machine. Taking regional electricity enterprise in Hebei province as an example, it demonstrates that the sustainable development of power generation companies can benefit the power generation companies, power companies, power users and the whole community.

In order to measure the impact of the degree of coupling and coordination between logistics and financial industries on the carbon emissions of the logistics industry, a comprehensive evaluation index system for the logistics-financial industry from 2007 to 2017 was constructed, which was calculated using the multi-objective linear weighting method; and a combination of logistics and financial industry was constructed. The panel smooth conversion model of coordination degree and carbon emission of logistics industry. The empirical results show that the coupling coordination degree of logistics and financial industry in China’s 30 provinces is mostly in primary and medium coordination, and only a few provinces are on the verge of imbalance; the coupling coordination degree in the eastern region is overall moderate coordination, and the overall coordination degree in the central and western regions It is the primary coordination; with the growth of GDP per capita, the degree of coupling and coordination between the logistics and financial industries has promoted the increase of carbon emissions in various regions, but the promotion effect is an inverted U-shaped trend that first increases and then decreases.

According to indicators’ information repetition and subjectivity of the indicators’ weight set during the variable fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, Principal Component analysis can help solve the weight of the relative indicators and reduce comprehensive evaluation dimensions of the variable fussy comprehensive evaluation. This paper has made a comprehensive evaluation of the status quo of Yunnan’s low carbon economy development(2005-2009), which turns out to be more practical compared with the mere variable fussy theory analysis, thus, principal component-variable fuzzy evaluation is a kind of feasible way to analyze the regional low carbon development status.

By researching the printing equipment manufacture and equipment applied enterprise of domestic, the data contained printing equipment energy use, emissions and product characteristic was obtained. By using the method of expert advice and factor analysis, clean production evaluation indicators and index system was determined.</p>

The Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) is one of the most economically active regions in China, where an imbalance between the demand for land and the non-renewable is increasingly prominent. We present the patterns of land use in the YREB, then construct an evaluation index based on the Pressure-State-Response model. The TOPSIS model is used to evaluate sustainable land development in the YREB, and the spatial deductive characteristics of sustainable development levels are analyzed using three aspects: global spatial correlation, local spatial correlation, and regional difference. The results about the YREB show that: (1) The comprehensive sustainable land development score is average, indicating moderate sustainability with a fluctuating upward trend and good prospects. (2) The sustainable development levels of land have strong positive spatial correlation and agglomeration; the agglomeration characteristics follow a pattern similar to that of the status of economic development. (3) Sustainable development levels of land in the provinces and cities show great spatial differences.

To scientifically and accurately evaluate the status of the development of green airports in China, evaluation methods of green, ecological airports are established in this paper. To address the shortcomings in subjective and objective weighting methods, we propose a combination weighting method based on Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient and evaluation grades based on interval approximation. At the same time, by taking into account resource conservation, environmental friendliness, operation efficiency, and people-oriented service, we propose an evaluation index system and an interval number for each index. Lastly, the theory is applied to five large airports in different regions of China. Analysis of the evaluation results shows that Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) have the highest scores for the resource conservation and environmental friendliness indexes, thus indicating that the development of a green ecological airport is closely related to its passenger transportation scale and economic strength. All considered airports showed the need for upgrading public  service facilities and constructing intelligent equipment. The method proposed in this paper is reasonable  and reliable; therefore, it can provide guidance for the evaluation and construction of green, ecological  airports.

With the number of power transmission and transformation projects increasing, it needs to consider more indices information and utilize more comprehensive evaluation methods in the decision-making of building schemes. As a consequence, a comprehensive evaluation indices system, including the indices of network security, economy, environmental friendliness, adaptation and coordination of the power transmission and transformation engineering system, is firstly built to evaluation construction schemes. Then this paper proposes a multi-attribute comprehensive evaluation method for power transmission and transformation projects. In this method, the optimal combination weighting method based on the moment estimation is adopted to weight for every index. It can overcome the weakness of the subjective weighting methods and the objective methods. After that, the optimal scheme is obtained by the grey correlation-cosine prioritizing evaluation method, which can take into account the distance and angle information of schemes. Finally, the example shows this method can fully consider overall information of each index, having good operability.
