This research was conducted to examine the effect of the technical ability of personal information systems, organizational size, user involvement in the system on the performance of accounting information systems. The population in this study includes all employees who use accounting information systems, namely tellers and back offices in conventional banks in the South Jakarta area. The sampling method used in this study is Simple Random Sampling. The final data generated are 48 samples that are ready to be analyzed and tested. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and uses the name of the SPPS statistical application with a significance level of 5%. The results of this study indicate that (1) the technical ability of personal information systems has a significant influence on the performance of accounting information systems, (2) the size of the organization has no significant effect on the performance of accounting information systems, (3) user involvement in the system has a significant influence on accounting performance information Systems.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to address two of the ongoing theoretical and empirical questions in the literature on authentic leadership: does authentic leadership negatively influence employees’ turnover intentions by enhancing their levels of affective commitment? and does organizational size act as a boundary condition for the mediating effects of affective commitment in the link between authentic leadership and turnover intentions? Design/methodology/approach A moderated mediation model of the affective process linking authentic leadership and turnover intentions was developed and tested on a sample of 375 employees working in South Korean firms. Findings The negative indirect effects of authentic leadership on employees’ turnover intentions through changes in the levels of affective commitment were significant. Furthermore, the mediated relationship between authentic leadership and turnover intentions via employees’ levels of affective commitment was stronger in smaller organizations. Practical implications The findings of the present study may be useful to practitioners who are interested in employee retention. They can mitigate against turnover intentions by enhancing the authentic leadership qualities of the managers. More specifically, this approach is especially ideal for small organizations. Originality/value This study corroborates the results of previous studies in highlighting the pervasive effects of authentic leadership on turnover intentions via enhancing employees’ levels of affective commitment. Moreover, organizational size as a boundary condition for the aforementioned relationship was empirically examined.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyse the relationship between learning processes (LP) – group learning (GL) and training processes – and job satisfaction (JS), by taking into consideration the mediating role of organizational size (OZ) and employees’ educational level (EEL). Design/methodology/approach Data were collected from the Spanish wine sector. The survey was addressed to the workers, and 230 valid questionnaires were obtained. The authors have proven their model of research through a model of structural equations, that is, by means of the partial least squares technique. Findings This paper proposes that LP play a significant role in determining the effects on JS, and OZ and EEL mediate the relationship between GL and JS. Research limitations/implications Owing to certain features of the sample and the use of measurement scales, the final results should be considered with caution. Further research in other contexts using qualitative methods is needed to validate these findings. Practical implications When seeking to improve employee JS, practitioners should take into account the link between LP and JS. It is especially necessary to consider the diversity in learning groups. Originality/value This paper provides an empirical analysis of the relationship between LP and JS and checks the mediation of OZ and worker education of workers between group learning and JS.

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of donations, restricted funds, organizational size, and age of the organization age on the voluntary disclosure of the foundation. All foundations in Indonesia are the population in this study. The sample of this research is foundations in Indonesia that submit financial reports via the internet between 2013-2019 and have complete data. Based on these criteria, 114 financial reports were obtained as the research sample. The results of this study prove that restricted funds and organizational size have a significant positive effect on voluntary disclosure, while the donations and age of the organization have no significant positive effect on voluntary disclosure. The implication of this research is that funders must consider the restricted funds and the size of the organization to assess the prospects of the foundation. In addition, the foundation must increase voluntary disclosure to be more transparent in providing information about its foundation. With transparency, the foundation will more easily get the trust to receive funds that are beneficial to the foundation's survival.</em></p>

ABSTRACTSize is a contingency variable that can influence firms’ performance. This study aims to contrast whether exists or not a significant relationship between organizational size and performance in agrifood firms, particularly in the case of Fruit and Vegetables Cooperatives in Spain. Therefore, an applied empirical study using regression analysis is carried out from economic and financial information of such companies obtained from official registers. The study shows that there is not a significant positive relationship between performance and size for such type of firms.
