Corynespora salasiae. [Descriptions of Fungi and Bacteria].
Keyword(s):
Abstract A description is provided for Corynespora salasiae, which has been recorded on a dead grass stem. It is presumably a saprobe for at least part of its life cycle, but nothing else is known about its relation with associated plants. The only known habitat of this species is in mixed woodland of Pinus caribaea and Quercus oleoides. Some information on its dispersal and transmission and conservation status is given, along with details of its geographical distribution (Caribbean (Cuba)).
