Abstract A description is provided for Pithomyces graminicola. Information is included on the disease caused by the organism, its transmission, geographical distribution, and hosts. HOSTS: Brachiaria, Caryota, Elaeis, Ipomoea, Phaseolus, Pinus, Saccharum, Solanum, Sorghum, Stylosanthes; also from air and soil.
