AbstractAsset management is a cornerstone for any business organisations. Proper asset management process can make a company's assets more optimal. This paper discusses the design of enterprise architecture of management assets owned by PT Pembangkit Jawa Bali with Zachman Framework. There are 7 stages in asset management, i.e. data collection, initialization planning, Observing the existing condition of enterprise, analyze the results of the condition of enterprise companies, create architectural planning, create implementation planning, and create application portfolio. The results of this reseach is evaluation of architectural blueprint to be implemented for several years in the future. Keywords: Asset management, Enterprise Architecture Planning, Zachman Framework.

The paper deals with the back analysis method in geotechnical engineering, that goal is evaluation the more objective and reliable parameters of the rock mass on the basis of in-situ measurements. Stress, deformational, strength and rheological parameters of the rock mass are usually determined by some inaccuracies and errors arising from the complexity and variability of the rock mass. This higher or lower degree of imprecision is reflected in the reliability of the mathematical modelling results. The paper presents the utilization of direct optimization back analysis method, based on the theory of analytical functions of complex variable and Kolosov-Muschelischvili relations, to the evaluation of initial stress state inside the rock massif.

Abstract Community System of Social Support is the basis of modern health care systems not only in Poland but all over the world in the prophylaxis-treatment-rehabilitation procedure. In Poland, family doctors, commune councils and territorial self-governments are involved in it. Family doctors perform a substantial function, whereas commune councils and territorial self-governments an administrative one. The principle of the system work is evaluation of its benefits. Its aim is the reduction of the number of patients who abuse alcohol and those who abuse alcohol despite treatment.

Evaluating the performance of employees in an organization is a necessity if the organization seeks improvement of their service quality. Konsorsium Yayasan Mulia working in the field of education is very concerned with evaluating their employee performance. One of the evaluations which have been routinely carried out is evaluation of homeroom teacher performance. This evaluation is done as a form of Konsorsium Yayasan Mulia attention on the student character building. The evaluation has been made manually spend a lot of time and effort, it is necessary for a system that can be the solution of the problem. The system will be built is the first system, that means it requires development method that flexible to changes.System development method used in this research is eXtreme Programming. This method is part of Agile Programming that emphasizes intense communication with customers to determine their needs. The steps of this method are planning, design, coding and testing. The homeroom task evaluation system is a bridge between the homeroom teacher, the principal and Konsorsium Yayasan Mulia. General overview of the system, the system has three user level, admin, principal and homeroom teacher. Admin can post an evaluation sheet and manage principal. Principal can manage homeroom teacher and homeroom theacher can report their task performance. The result of this research is a system that provides convenience to Konsorsium Yayasan Mulia to evaluate the task performance of homeroom teacher.

Background and aimBlindness cause functional and structural change in brain. The aim of this study is evaluation and comparison of selective attention and inhibition in acquired blinds and matched sightedMethodForty five Acquired Blinds of war veteran and fifty six healthy volunteers participated in this cross sectional study. Auditory Stroop Test is used for evaluation of selective attention and inhibitory control. Independent T Test was used for comparing blind with sighted.ResultsFindings show significant difference between two groups so that sighted subjects have higher performance in accuracy and reaction time of all stage of stroop task.ConclusionWe concluded that acquired blinds didn’t have any preference in selective attention and inhibitory control versus matched sighted.

Due to the prevalent use of Information Systems (IS) in modern organisations, evaluation research in this field is becoming more and more important. In light of this, a set of rigorous methodologies were developed and used by IS researchers and practitioners to evaluate the increasingly complex IS implementation used. Moreover, different types of IS and different focusing perspectives of the evaluation require the selection and use of different evaluation approaches and methodologies. This chapter aims to identify, explore, investigate, and discuss the various key methodologies that can be used in IS evaluation from different perspectives, namely in nature (e.g. summative vs. formative evaluation) and in strategy (e.g. goal-based, goal-free, and criteria-based evaluation). Six case studies are also presented and discussed in this chapter to illustrate how the different IS evaluation methodologies can be applied in practices. The chapter concludes that evaluation methodologies should be selected depending on the nature of the IS and the specific goals and objectives of the evaluation. Nonetheless, it is also proposed that formative criteria-based evaluation and summative criteria-based evaluation are currently among the more widely used in IS research. The authors suggest that the combined used of one or more of these approaches can be applied at different stages of the IS life cycle in order to generate more rigorous and reliable evaluation outcomes. Moreover, results and outcomes of IS evaluation research will not just be useful in practically guiding actions to improve the current system, but can also be used to generate new knowledge and theory to be adopted by future IS research.

Despite the proposal of various Information Systems (IS) evaluation models and approaches, IS evaluation has never been straightforward. There are issues and challenges in proving the business value of IS. Adding to the difficulty, a vast number of measures have been employed conveniently for evaluation purposes without going through a rigorous validation process. Recognising the complexity for IS researchers, IS specialists, and business managers to agree on a common model for the evaluation of IS business value, this chapter presents an empirically validated IS evaluation model, the IS for organisational effectiveness (ISOE) model, for planning, designing, implementing, and appraising IS. There also emerges a new theory, the Information System business value (ISBV) theory, from the ISOE model to establish that IS business value is multifaceted and are observable in the form of improvements in organisational effectiveness.
