A taxonomic revision with full descriptions and key are presented for the 109 known species of Gastrolobium, including 29 new species described here for the first time. Brachysema, Jansonia and Nemcia are formally placed into Gastrolobium and new combinations have been made where necessary. Included in the revision are full taxonomic descriptions for all species, full synonymies, literature references for original publications, typification, including selection of lectotypes where necessary, distributions complete with maps, and taxonomic and nomenclatural notes. New taxa described herein are G. acrocaroli, G. aculeatum, G. alternifolium, G.�congestum, G. crispatum, G. cruciatum, G. cyanophyllum, G. diabolophyllum, G. discolor, G. elegans, G.�euryphyllum, G. ferrugineum, G. glabratum, G. hians, G. humile, G. involutum, G. melanopetalum, G.�mondurup, G. musaceum, G. nudum, G. nutans, G. reflexum, G. rhombifolium, G. semiteres, G. tenue, G.�tergiversum, G. venulosum, G. whicherensis and G. wonganensis.

New species: Agrostis ushae Noltie from India (Sikkim), Arundinella dagana Noltie and Cymbopogon bhutanicus Noltie from Bhutan. New subspecies: Deschampsia cespitosa subsp. sikkimensis Noltie from India (Sikkim) and China (Tibet). New combinations: Agrostis petelotii (Hitchc.) Noltie, Urochloa supervacua (C.B. Clarke) Noltie, Cymbopogon munroi (C.B. Clarke) Noltie, Urochloa villosa var. barbata (Bor) Noltie, Themeda triandra var. laxa (Andersson) Noltie. All species of eutetrarhynchid cestodes known from Australian elasmobranch fishes are redescribed and 10 new species are erected. The genera Prochristianella Dollfus, 1946, and Trigonolobium Dollfus, 1929 are reported from the Australian region for the first time. Trigonolobium is described in detail and allocated to the Eutetrarhynchidae Guiart, 1927. The genus Eutetrarhynchus Pintner, 1913 is redefined. E. australis Prudhoe, 1969, and E. geraschmidti Dollfus, 1974 are redescribed. E. leucomelanus (Shipley & Hornell, 1906) and E. michiae (Southwell, 1929) are redescribed from the types and reported for the first time from the Australian region. Five new species of Eutetrarhynchus are described: E. aetobati, sp. nov., E. bareldsi, sp. nov., E. martini, sp. nov., E. ocallaghani, sp. nov., and E. owensi, sp. nov. The genus Prochristianella is redefined and four new species are added: P. butlerae, sp. nov., P. clarkeae, sp. nov., P. mooreae, sp. nov., and P. odonoghuei, sp. nov. The genus Parachristianella Dollfus, 1946 is redefined. Pa. monomegacantha Kruse, 1959 is redescribed from Australian specimens, and Pa. baverstocki, sp. nov. is added to the genus. Trigonolobium spinuliferum (Southwell, 1911) is redescribed and reported for the first time from the Australian region. Trimacracanthus Beveridge & Campbell, 1987 is included in the revision. Keys are included to all genera and species. The following new combinations are used: Eutetrarhynchus micracanthus (Carvajal, Campbell & Cornford, 1976) (syn. Prochristianella micracantha), Eutetrarhynchus musteli (Carvajal, 1974) (syn. Prochristianella musteli), Prochristianella thalassia (Kovacs & Schmidt, 1980) (syn. Eutetrarhynchus thalassius) and Parachristianella carribensis (Kovacs & Schmidt, 1980) (syn. Eutetrarhynchus carribensis).

The genus Melaleuca currently is the subject of taxonomic revision. In this paper, the 219 Australian and Tasmanian species of Melaleuca sens. Austral. auctt. that are considered to represent Melaleuca are listed together with their infraspecific taxa, taxonomic and nomenclatural synonyms are given, and new names resulting from changes in taxonomic rank and/or the recognition of new taxa are validated. Identification keys are also provided. Of the new names, 48, 3 and 2 result from the recognition of new species, new subspecies and new varieties, respectively, 7 from new combinations and 1 from the provision of a new name. An invalidly published name is validated. The Archipini fauna of the Caribbean is revised to include 33 species. Most previously described species occurring in the region are redescribed and figured, with 13 new species: Argyrotaenia brownisp. nov., A. crypticasp. nov. (including A. c. crypticassp. nov. and A. c. praeteritanassp. nov.), A. paradiseisp. nov., A. razowskianasp. nov., Claduncaria rawlinsanasp. nov., Cla. praedictanasp. nov., Cla. tainosp. nov., Clepsis davisisp. nov., Cle. deronisp. nov., Cle. jamesstewartisp. nov., Cle. peroniaesp. nov., Mictocommosis lesleyaesp. nov., and Mictopsichia nyhllindasp. nov. Three new combinations are proposed: Claduncaria mesosignaria (Razowski, 1999), comb. nov. The concept of Claduncaria is expanded and its diagnosis is modified to more clearly define its generic boundaries. A unique external sexual coupling mechanism in Claduncaria is discussed. Keys to the genera and species of Caribbean Archipini, distribution maps, a regional checklist, and Neighbor-joining and Maximum Likelihood trees based on COI barcode data are provided. Phylogenetic relationships among Caribbean Archipini are briefly discussed.

In the frame of a taxonomic revision of Hyacinthaceae subfamily Urgineoideae (Asparagaceae tribe Urgineeae) combining morphological and genetic data from numerous samples across its whole range of distribution, we here present a taxonomic revision of Geschollia, a genus originally accepted as monotypic to include G. anomala. This genus was characterized by the single, synanthous, terete leaf; long racemose inflorescence; tepals connate for ca. 1 mm and reflexed at anthesis; spreading to patent stamens; and small polygonal seeds. Our morphological studies in combination with phylogenetic analyses evidence that Geschollia is indeed a strongly supported monophyletic group, which includes eight species matching most of the features cited above. In this context, we here describe five new species in this genus and accordingly expand the original characterization of Geschollia to accommodate these new taxa. Furthermore, two new combinations are presented for previously described species. An identification key is provided for all accepted species in the genus.

Within the Asiatic tiger beetle fauna, Parmecus Motschulsky, 1864 stat. rest., stat. nov., is reestablished as a subgenus of Cylindera Westwood, 1831 with Cylindera (Parmecus) dromicoides (Chaudoir, 1852), as its type species, and the lectotype and paralectotypes of Cicindela dromicoides Chaudoir, 1852 are designated as well. Two other species are included, Cylindera (Parmecus) armandi (Fairmaire, 1886), from the Himalayan Region, and Cylindera (Parmecus) mosuoa, sp. nov., from Yunnan, China. Cylindera (Parmecus) as a subgenus is characterized, a key to identify its species is provided, and its species composition is discussed. Cylindera (Parmecus) dromicoides (Chaudoir, 1852) is newly recorded from Pakistan and the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, while Cylindera (Parmecus) armandi (Fairmaire, 1886) is recorded for the first time from the Chinese province of Sichuan. The records of C. armandi from Bhutan, as well as C. dromicoides from Yunnan Province (China) are rejected due to erroneous identifications.

The genus Mesophleps Hübner (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae) is revised; 54 available names (including one unjustifiedemendation), one junior primary homonym and one unavailable name were considered; type material of 44 previouslydescribed nominal species was examined. AbstractNotes are given on the identity and synonymy of five species of Lepidoptera described by Linnaeus, twenty-eight by Fabricius and two by Ström. Each species dealt with is treated under the apparent valid combination; for each species reference is given to the original description. Twenty-four new species-group name synonyms are introduced and nine new combinations are established: Nemaxera betulinella (Fabr.), Argyresthia arcella (Fabr.), Depressaria depressana (Fabr.), Chrysoesthia drurella (Fabr.), Brachmia blandella (Fabr.), Acleris laterana (Fabr.), Pseudohermenias abietana (Fabr.), Epinotia abbreviana (Fab.) and Acrobasis repandana (Fabr.). During the work two neotypes, twenty-seven lectotypes and two paralectotypes have been designated and are here cited for the first time.
