The Australian Gomphidae belong in the subfamilies Ictinogomphinae and Gomphinae. The three ictinogomphine species are placed in the widespread genus Ictinogomphus Cowley: I. australis (Selys), I. dobsoni (Watson), and a new species, I. paulini. The gomphine genera are endemic, and fall into two groups, the Hemigomphus and Austrogomphus groups. The first contains Hemigomphus Selys [H. comitatus (Tillyard), H. gouldii (Selys), H. heteroclytus Selys (type species), plus four new species, H. atratus, H. cooloola, H. magela, H. theischingeri], Armagomphus Carle [type- and only species A. armiger (Tillyard)] and the new genus Odontogomphus, comprising two new species, O. donnellyi (type species) and O. longipositor. The second includes Antipodogomphus Fraser [A. acolythus (Martin), A. hodgkini Watson, A. neophytus Fraser, A. proselythus (Martin) (type species) plus two new species: A. dentosus, A. edentulus], and Austrogomphus Selys, divided into five subgenera, Austrogomphus Selys [A. angeli Tillyard, A. arbustorum Tillyard, A. australis Dale in Selys, A. collaris Hagen in Selys, A. cornutus, sp. nov., A. doddi Tillyard, A. guerini (Rambur) (type species), A. mjobergi Sjöstedt, A. ochraceus (Selys) and A. pusillus Sjöstedt], Austroepigomphus Fraser, stat. nov. [A. melaleucae Tillyard, A. praeruptus (Selys) (type species)], plus three new subgenera, Pleiogomphus [A. amphiclitus (Selys) (type species), A. bifurcatus Tillyard, A. prasinus Tillyard, plus a new species, A. divaricatus], Xerogomphus [A. gordoni Watson, A. turneri Martin (type species)], and Zephyrogomphus [type- and only species A. lateralis (Selys)]. Lectotypes are designated for Hemigomphus heteroclytus Selys and Antipodogomphus neophytus Fraser, and neotypes for Austrogomphus gouldii Selys and Austrogomphus collaris Hagen in Selys. Data are provided on the larvae of endemic genera, and on the distributions and habitats of species, all of which are keyed.

A new alysiine genus (Braconidae, Alysiinae, Alysiini) from SE China, Dacnulysia gen. nov. (type species: D. chaenomastax sp. nov.) with aberrant mandible and head shape is described and illustrated. A new species of the genus Phaenocarpa Foerster, 1863, with an aberrant ovipositor, P. platychora sp. nov., from SE China is included as type species in a new subgenus, Clistalysia nov. A key to the subgenera of Phaenocarpa Foerster is included; Idiolexis Foerster, 1863, and Kahlia Ashmead, 1900, are recognised as valid subgenera.

Two Palaearctic genera, Paragona Staudinger, 1892 and Paragabara Hampson, 1926, in the subfamilies Aventiinae and Hypeninae respectively are revised. The genus Paragona is recognized as a member of the subfamily Aventiinae. Paragona nemorata sp. n. is described as new and Paragona inchoata (Wileman, 1911) is reported for China for the first time. The genus Paragabara is recognized as a member of the subfamily Hypeninae. A lectotype is designated for P. flavomacula (Oberthür, 1880) and a new species Paragabara curvicornuta sp. n. described. Paragabara ochreipennis Sugi, 1962 and Remmigabara secunda, comb. n. are reported for the first time from China; Paragabara secunda Remm, 1973 is removed from the genus Paragabara. In addition, a new genus Remmigabara gen. n., with type species Paragabara secunda, is described in the subfamily Aventiinae. Adults and genitalia of the new taxa are illustrated and compared to related taxa.

A new genus and species, Unguitarsonemus paradoxus n. gen., n. sp. and a new species, Pseudotarsonemoides peruviensis n. sp. (Acari: Trombidiformes: Tarsonemidae), are described based on phoretic females collected on bark beetles Phloeotribus pilula and Ph. biguttatus, respectively, from Peru. A key to species of the genus Pseudotarsonemoides is provided.

A new genus of Paramunnidae, Holodentata (type species: Paramunna gaussi Vanhöffen, 1914) is erected. The new genus comprises two new species: H. caeca, from the deep Weddell Sea and H. triangulata, from the Ross Sea. The new genus is distinguished by the following characters: article 3 of the antenna short and with strong denticles, mandible palp absent, article 2 of maxilliped palp longest, coxal plates visible in dorsal view in all pereonites, pleotelson broad and laterally denticulated.

We describe a new genus, Dishkeya Stonis, gen. nov., and a new species, Dishkeya gothica Diškus & Stonis, sp. nov., discovered feeding on Gouania lupuloides (L.) Urb., Rhamnaceae. We discuss the diagnostics of Tischeria Zeller and Dishkeya gen. nov.; the latter is characterized by the absence of a juxta, the presence of a pseudognathos, and well-developed carinae of the phallus in the male genitalia. We newly combine Tischeria bifurcata Braun and Tischeria gouaniae Stonis & Diškus with Dishkeya and designate the latter species as the type species of the new genus. All species treated in the paper are illustrated with drawings or photographs of the male genitalia.

AbstractThe new lichen genus Sergipea M. Cáceres, Ertz & Aptroot is described in the Roccellaceae, based on the new species Sergipea aurata M. Cáceres, Ertz & Aptroot from NE Brazil. The species was found in a remnant of Atlantic transition forest in Sergipe. It is similar in many respects to species of the genus Enterographa, but it is characterized by bright orange stromata, due to the presence of an anthraquinone, and a thallus with a somewhat byssoid hypothallus. Phylogenetically it is close to the genera Dichosporidium and Erythrodecton. The phylogenetic position of the generic type of Dichosporidium confirms the close relationship of the genus to Erythrodecton in the basal branch of the Roccellaceae. A new species of Enterographa is also described from NE Brazil. Enterographa rotundata E. L. Lima, M. Cáceres & Aptroot has solitary, round apothecia, which is unusual in this genus with mainly elongated apothecia or punctiform apothecia arranged in lines. It was found in Caatinga forest in Pernambuco.

The harvestman genus Bonea Roewer, 1914 and its type species B. sarasinorum Roewer, 1914 are redescribed based on the type material. In addition, two new species of Bonea from Hainan Island, China, are described and illustrated: B. zhui sp. nov. and B. tridigitata sp. nov. A new species of Lomanius Roewer, 1923 from Yunnan Province, China, is also described and illustrated: L. bulbosus sp. nov.. Keys to the 10 species of Bonea and the six species of Lomanius are provided. Paralomanius Goodnight & Goodnight, 1948 is revalidated from the synonymy of Lomanius, carrying as junior synonym Eulomanius Roewer, 1949, and containing two species from Micronesia (Paralomanius longipalpus Goodnight & Goodnight, 1948) and Philippines (Paralomanius mindanaoensis (Suzuki, 1977) new status). Bonea is transferred from the Ibaloniinae to Podoctinae. These are the first records of named species of Podoctidae from China.

Recent survey work for planthoppers at La Selva Biological Station in Costa Rica found two new species allied with Cenchrea Westwood. The cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) and 18S were sequenced for the new taxa and used these data to assess the genus-level standing of the new taxa. The new taxa do not cluster with Cenchrea dorsalis Westwood, the type species of Cenchrea. A new genus Tico gen. n. described for the reception of new species described as Tico emmettcarri sp. n. (the type species) and Tico pseudosororius sp. n. Cenchrea sororia Fennah is moved to Tico gen. n., to form the new combination Tico sororius (Fennah). Tico gen. n. is compared with allied genera, and review genus-level diagnostic features and the species composition of Cenchrea, which appears to be compositionally heterogenous, but additional data is needed to evaluate genus-level placement of most species.

The new genus Callivelia is proposed to hold three Neotropical species previously held within Paravelia: type-species Callivelia conata (Hungerford), Callivelia taipiensis (Cheesman) and Callivelia bipunctata (Rodrigues, Moreira, Nieser, Chen & Melo). Paravelia virtutis (Drake & Harris) 1935 is synonymized under Callivelia taipiensis (Cheesman) 1926. In addition, a new species, C. anomala, is described from the Amazon Basin of Brazil. Additional distributional records are provided for the three previously described species treated, including the first country record for C. bipunctata in Paraguay. A key to the species of Callivelia is provided, accompanied by color habitus photographs for all three species, and additional photographs of key generic characters.

The Genera of Fungi series, of which this is the sixth contribution, links type species of fungal genera to their morphology and DNA sequence data. Five genera of microfungi are treated in this study, with new species introduced in Arthrographis, Melnikomyces, and Verruconis. The genus Thysanorea is emended and two new species and nine combinations are proposed. Kramasamuha sibika, the type species of the genus, is provided with DNA sequence data for first time and shown to be a member of Helminthosphaeriaceae (Sordariomycetes). Aureoconidiella is introduced as a new genus representing a new lineage in the Dothideomycetes.
