Beyond the sociological definition of a profession which offers rather static perspectives, the notion of professionalisation as a process provides several ways to understand the nature and change of cultural policies. In the field of central-local relationships, it is thus necessary to analyse the combination of a plurality of capacities, interests, and values to explain the specific influence of professionalism on policymaking. All these elements have been found from a case study of the creation and implementation of a music festival in a city in southern France (Montpellier). Professionalisation can indeed be considered as a key notion with which to understand both urban cultural policies as a whole and the implementation of a single cultural project.

In the last three case studies there has been a logical progression through the management of change, considering first the definition of the problem; second, the development of a strategy for handling it; and third, the creation of an appropriate organizational structure. But, in today’s fast-moving world, there are many situations in which it is difficult to carry out this systematic approach. For example what do we do if change involves a technological jump, bringing with it new problems and challenges which have not been experienced before and which are poorly understood? This happened to white-collar work in the next case study. It has also happened many times in the past and is likely to happen many times in the future.

AbstractWhile recent studies of early Chinese texts increasingly eschew the term “author,” the present article defends the utility of this term by proposing a generalizable framework for conceptualizing author claims. Using Qu Yuan as a case study, I demonstrate that the construction of the author, both historical and putative, uniquely contributes to the finalization—rather than the creation—of texts, transforming open and evolving textual traditions into closed and stabilized entities. The creation of the author thus stands at the threshold between textual production and reception, often serving as an indispensable condition for the latter. By applying this approach to the study of the Chuci zhangju, I offer a new definition of the textual strata within this compilation.

Industrial symbiosis (IS) improves resource efficiency and creates sustainable opportunities by encouraging synergies between industries. However, managers still have difficulties in promoting IS, given the lack of appropriate managerial tools to efficiently obtain an overview of IS potential. In this paper, a procedure merging the Quick Wins Workshop format with clustering techniques is proposed, in order to both identify IS opportunities and support IS creation in the industrial cluster of Valenciaport. A total of 18 stakeholders took part in the study. As a result, 79 different resources classified into eight categories—materials (16), goods (14), space (11), expertise (11), energy (9), services (8), hydrocarbons (7), and water (3)—were derived and a total of 78 possible matchings were found. The creation of IS was supported by the clustering methods, which allow for the definition of common symbiotic features among stakeholders, classifying them into groups with similar IS potential. Three IS profiles were identified (high, medium, and low IS potential) and two strategic projects were devised, accordingly. It can be concluded that the proposed procedure provides useful managerial tools to identify resource flows, uncover patterns of exchange, identify possible matchings, and devise projects in communities interested in fostering IS from scratch.

RESUMO        Do nascimento da Associação Internacional de Teatro na Universidade, ou Quando uma necessidade do TU cria o órgão AITUDesde a criacão das primeiras universidades na Idade Média, a atividade teatral universitária esteve diretamente ligada às matérias ensinadas como um auxiliar do ensino,  e essencialmente praticada intra muros. Após a 2a. guerra mundial (1945), o teatro universitário iria acentuar o fenômeno de sua abertura e de sua internacionalização. Rompendo os muros da universidade, o teatro conquistaria cada vez mais visibilidade, e inúmeros grupos universitários se veriam tentados pela profissionalização. A própria universidade vai, a partir daí, considerar o teatro como objeto de estudo.  E os anos 70 serão, assim, marcados em quase todas as universidades europeias, pela criação de Departamentos de Estudos Teatrais. A década de 1980 viu florescerem novos festivais internacionais que revelam claramente a abundância de teatros universitários e a grande diversidade de suas práticas. Por ocasião dos Encontros de Liège (RITU), vai ressurgir no início dos anos 90, a questão da definicão do teatro universitário, que impulsiona os liegenises a organizar um Congresso Mundial em outubro de 1994, quando foi criada a Associação Internacional do Teatro na Universidade. A AITU organzia seu 11o. After the 2nd World War (1945), University Theatre would accentuate the phenomenon of openness and internationalization. Leaving the walls of the university, theater acquired more and more visibility, and numerous academic troops were tempted by professionalization. The university itself will now consider theater as a case study. And so the 70’s will be marked by the creation of Theater Studies Departments in universities all over Europe. The 1980’s saw a flowering of new international festivals which clearly reveal the abundance of university theaters and the great diversity of practices. On the occasion of the Liège Meetings (RITU), the question of the definition of university theater resurfaced in the early 90s, which pushed the organizers to set up a World Congress in October 1994. Women’s empowerment has been at the centre of research focus for many decades. Extant literature examined the process, outcome and various challenges. Some claimed substantial success, while others contradicted with evidence of failure. But the success remains a matter of debate due to lack of empirical evidence of actual empowerment of women around the world. The current study aimed to address this gap by taking a case study method. The study critically evaluates 20 cases carefully sampled to include representatives from the entire country of Bangladesh. The study demonstrates popular beliefs about microfinance often misguide even the borrowers and they start living in a fabricated feeling of empowerment, facing real challenges to achieve true empowerment in their lives. The impact of this finding is twofold; firstly there is a theoretical contribution, where the definition of women’s empowerment is proposed to be revisited considering findings from these cases. And lastly, the policy makers at governmental and non-governmental organisations, and multinational donor agencies need to revise their assessment tools for funding.

Law of inheritance only happens because the person died. In BW there are two ways to get wealth, that is: as heirs according to the provisions of law and as a person appointed in the will. What is meant by the will itself according to Article 875 BW is an agreement that make statements about what he wished someone would happen after he died, and that by her to pull back. In general, people make a will before a Public Notary. According to article 1 paragraph 1 of Act No. 2 of 2014 concerning On Notary (now referred to UUJN). Notary is a public official who is authorized to make authentic agreements and other authorities referred to in the Act, where each testament must be shaped agreement in order to obtain certainty law as an authentic agreement binding. With the creation of the will meant that the parties can understand and be able to know the basic result of the offense can be arranged so that the interests of the concerned receive proper protection as known by the Notary.Keywords: Inheritance; Heir; Testament; Authentic Agreement

Using the promotional meeting of Dorota Masłowska’s book "More than you can eat" (16 April 2015 in the Bar Studio, Warsaw), as a case study, the article examines the role author plays in it and try to show how the author itself can become the literature. As a result of the transformation of cultural practices associated with the new media, the author’s figure has gained much greater visibility which consequently changed its meaning. In the article, Masłowska’s artistic strategy is compared to visual autofiction in conceptual art and interpreted through the role of the performance and visual representations in the creation of the image or author’s brand.

This essay explores Edgar Allan Poe’s extraordinary relationships with various literary traditions across the globe, posits that Poe is the most influential US writer on the global literary scene, and argues that Poe’s current global reputation relies at least as much on the radiance of the work of Poe’s literary advocates—many of whom are literary stars in their own right—as it does on the brilliance of Poe’s original works. The article briefly examines Poe’s most famous French advocates (Baudelaire, Mallarmé, Valéry); glosses the work of his advocates throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas; and offers a concise case study of Poe’s influence on and advocacy from three twentieth-century writers from the Río de la Plata region of South America (Quiroga, Borges, and Cortázar). The essay concludes by reading the relationships between Poe and his advocates through the ancient definition of astral or stellar influence.
