Industry globalization and consumer concern for environmental issues compel the industry to make adjustments to the green industry concept including green procurement activities such as supplier selection. One of the industries in the diesel engine exporting company, PT. Kubota Indonesia, must be able to meet market demands related to Green Industries. one of the Green Industry Concepts that teaches companies to broaden their perspectives on corporate environmental concerns is Green Procurement. This concept emphasizes companies to use suppliers who also have a concern for the environment. When conducting the supplier selection process PT. Kubota Indonesia only emphasizes on the criteria for quality, price and timely delivery. In addition, delays in orders received at the company make this company have to choose suppliers. The results of this study were to determine the criteria and sub-criteria weights used by PT. Kubota Indonesia selects suppliers according to the concept of Green Procurement, ranks and selects suppliers using Fuzzy Analytical Network Process (FANP). The most important criteria are quality criteria and the best supplier recommended is PT. Three Pamindo T

Strategic evaluation and supplier selection, or strategic supply, is a main subject of supply chain management. Strategic evaluation and supplier selection is a multi-criteria decision problem, considering both tangible and intangible criteria and organizations are seeking various and sometimes opposite objectives in purchasing from suppliers. As the increasing rivalry in Iran’s auto industry, producers and suppliers face several challenges. Sazeh Gostar Saipa Co., the main supplier of Saipa automobile maker firm, is not exempt of this norm. Top managers of the company believe that the best supplier selection for long-term cooperation is vital for the implementation of corporate strategies. In this paper, using decision technique of Analytic Network Process (ANP) and Base Overhead Cost Recovery (BOCR), 20 tangible and intangible operational and strategic criteria are considered in the supplier selection decision through a suggested methodology. Different organizations’ goals in purchasing from suppliers that are ranked in the previous stage are formulated to determine the amount of supply allocation to each supplier based on goals. The innovation aspect and main goal of the research are suggesting a methodology for selecting suppliers and determining the amount of allocated orders to them with combining ANP method, BOCR structure and goal programming in Sazeh Gostar Saipa Co.

The technology in Taiwan’s panel industry is changing fast. However, after the financial tsunami and the increased price for raw materials, enterprises’ abilities to select suppliers and purchase have great influences on plan implementation. Therefore, with the prevailing issues of supply chain management, how to evaluate and select appropriate suppliers has become a very important topic for enterprises. Depending on customers’ needs, the requirements for suppliers vary from industry to industry. On this basis, this study summarizes and analyzes the literature on supplier selection to develop the supplier selection criteria, constructs the hierarchical network architecture by an expert interview, and proposes a complete supplier evaluation model by the fuzzy theory and network analysis. This study shows that the order of the important dimensions is as follows: performance evaluation, customer service, technology and competitiveness, cost benefits, and architecture, and the most important criterion is quality. Finally, the material suppliers of backlight modules in the panel industry are taken as the examples and ranked by VIKOR, based on their merits and demerits, to help related industries to understand their current advantages and disadvantages according to the selection results obtained by the fuzzy analytical network process and improve the gap between their actual situations and enterprises’ expectations and thus enhance their competitiveness.

Resilient suppliers can reduce supply chain risk, effectively avoid supply chain disruption, and bring profits to enterprises. However, there is no united measuring index system to evaluate the resilient supplier under supply chain environment, and the assessment language sets are usually crisp values. Therefore, in order to fill the research gap, this paper proposes a hybrid method, which combines triangular fuzzy number, the best-worst method (BWM), and the modular TOPSIS in random environments for group decision-making (GMo-RTOPSIS) to solve the above problem. Firstly, the weight of decision-maker is calculated by using fuzzy BWM which can deal with triangular fuzzy numbers. Secondly, triangular fuzzy number is introduced into GMo-RTOPSIS, and combined with fuzzy BWM, alternatives are sorted to select the best resilient supply chain partner. Finally, the feasibility and universality of this method are proved by illustrative examples.

Purpose – In recent years, stimulated environmental awareness (green consciousness) has favored the emergence of the green supply chain paradigm. Therefore, apart from traditional supplier selection criterions, green criteria are necessarily to be incorporated in the supplier selection problem. In this context, the present study aims to highlight an efficient supplier appraisement platform by considering green performance criteria, in fuzzy environment. Design/methodology/approach – The present work exhibits an efficient fuzzy-based supplier performance assessment system using generalized trapezoidal fuzzy numbers set. A fuzzy overall evaluation index has been estimated towards assessing suppliers' green performance extent, thus facilitating supplier appraisement cum selection decision-making. Findings – The proposed method has been found efficient for solving the group decision-making problem under uncertain environment due to vagueness, ambiguity associated with decision-makers' subjective judgment. The proposed appraisement platform has been explored by an Indian automobile part manufacturing company at eastern part of India. Suppliers have been evaluated individually to check their performance level with respect to green attributes. Apart from estimating overall performance metric, the model presented here can identify ill-performing areas that necessitate future attention. Originality/value – The major contributions of this work have been summarized as follows: Development and implementation of an efficient decision-making procedural hierarchy to support suppliers' green performance extent evaluation. An overall performance metric has been introduced. Concept of generalized trapezoidal fuzzy numbers has been efficiently explored to facilitate such an appraisement cum selection decision-making. The appraisement index system has been extended with the capability to search ill-performing areas that require future progress.
