The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of learning discipline
and logical mathematical intelligence on mathematics achievement. This study is a survey design. This research did in student class XI IPA SMA Negeri 98 Jakarta semester 2012/2013. The sample taken by simple random sampling technique, involved 40 students. The instrument were in the forms of questionnaires and tests. The data were analyzed first by test requirements, the normality test, linearity and multicollinearity. Based on the fulfillment of the criteria in terms of the tes analyzed, inferential analysis to the test the research hypothesis. The data were analyzed using correlation and multiple regression. The findings showed that (1) learning discipline and logical mathematical intelligence had a positive and significant simultaneous impact on mathematics achievement. (2) learning discipline had a positive and significant impact on mathematics achievement. (3) logical mathematical intelligence had a positive and significant impact on mathematics achievement.

The wear of cutting blades during the preparation of building stones is an inevitable issue that occurs due to the contact of the blade with rock components. The present study aims to investigate the feasibility of proposing experimental relations of strength parameters and mineralogical hardness with Cerchar and LCPC tests. For this purpose, 18 samples of granite building stones were selected and Equivalent Quartz Content (EQC), compressive and Brazilian tensile strength (UCS and BTS), Cerchar, and LCPC abrasivity indices (CAI and LAC) were determined. The results showed the lack of any significant relationship between strength and abrasion properties. However, when evaluating the simultaneous impact of EQC and UCS using the rock abrasion index (RAI=UCS×EQC), significant valid empirical relationships between RAI-CAI and RAI-LAC were derived. To investigate the simultaneous effect of UCS, BTS, and EQC, a dimensionless parameter, i.e. modified rock abrasion index (MRAI=(UCSBTS)×EQC) was introduced. Moreover, it was found that the empirical relationship between MRAI-CAI was more significant and valid than the previous relations. Verification of the proposed relationship with the values of other researchers and 6 new samples for estimating CAI and LAC based on UCS, BTS, and EQC was found to be highly accurate for granite building stones.

The present paper offers a theoretical review of the concept of human capital and its component elements, namely Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Working Activities, and attempts to sketch the requirements of the production structure in the Greek economy. In addition, the role is stressed of the educational model in Greece in positively affecting the changes underway under the simultaneous impact of the 4th industrial revolution and COVID-19.

Commodity prices have fluctuated sharply and Brent oil has been considered the most volatile commodity in price. This paper aims to reveal the true characteristics of the price volatility of six commodities, namely, Brent oil, gold, silver, wheat, corn and soybean and to verify the existence of a long-run relationship and causation among each pair of commodity prices. It finds that there has been persistent volatility in prices of all six commodities from 1986 to 2010. Contrary to the common belief, however, Brent oil appears not to be the most volatile in price. Rather the prices of precious metals and agricultural commodities have been more volatile than Brent oil for some time periods. It also finds that there has been a long-run relationship between the prices of Brent oil and soybean, of Brent oil and wheat, and a bilateral causality relationship between them, which implies that there has been a simultaneous impact on the price trajectories of these commodities.
