Biogas is the product of anaerobic vitiation of biodegradable matter. This paper focuses on the need of alternative and green sources of energy at a household level and how biogas produced from the everyday organic waste has the potential and possibility to replace LPG cylinders at houses, shops etc. and empower us to step towards an eco-friendly future. The purpose this small-scale experiment has been to find the perfect input matter that is easy to acquire and which produces the maximum amount of gas from minimum input and within small period of waste retention. Four different types of input waste material containing different quantities of cow dung and kitchen food waste were studied through individual experimental setups. Waste was mixed and kept at room temperature and the pH and total solid concentration of the samples were recorded on regular intervals. From the experiment it was found that the optimum yield of biogas at a small scale, based on the parameters such as retention period, pH and total solid con-centration can be obtained by the use of food waste form households and kitchens. The exact composition has been discussed in this paper. The energy generated by the small-scale generator has also been compared to that of an LPG cylinder and an LPG replacement model has also been presented.

AbstractThe growth of Mo overtayers and Mo-Ni multilayers on single crystal Ni(001) substrates is described. The nucleation and growth processes of these thin films were analyzed by LEED, XPS, AES and SEM and High Resolution AES investigations without breaking vacuum. Growth of Mo-Ni multilayer heterostructures on Ni(001) with ≈20Å periodicity is possible at low temperature (≈200 °C). At high temperature (≈550 °C) the growth proceeds by the Volmer-Weber mechanism preventing the deposition of small period multilayers. Annealing experiments on ultra-thin (<20Å) Mo overiayers deposited at 200 °C show an onset of interdiffusion at ≈ 550°C coupled to the generation of a new surface periodicity.

Authorship attribution is a task to identify the writer of unknown text and categorize it to known writer. Writing style of each author is distinct and can be used for the discrimination. There are different parameters responsible for rectifying such changes. When the writing samples collected for an author when it belongs to small period, it can participate efficiently for identification of unknown sample. In this paper author identification problem considered where writing sample is not available on the same time period. Such evidences collected over long period of time. And character n-gram, word n-gram and pos n-gram features used to build the model. As they are contributing towards style of writer in terms of content as well as statistic characteristic of writing style. We applied support vector machine algorithm for classification. Effective results and outcome came out from the experiments. While discriminating among multiple authors, corpus selection and construction were the most tedious task which was implemented effectively. It is observed that accuracy varied on feature type. Word and character n-gram have shown good accuracy than PoS n-gram.

The concept of path planning and collision avoidance are two of the most common theories applied for designing and developing in advanced autonomous robotics applications. NI LabView makes it possible to implement real-time processor for obstacle avoidance. The obstacle avoidance strategy ensures that the robot whenever senses the obstacle stops without being collided and moves freely when path is free, but sometimes there exists a probability that once the path is found free and the robot starts moving, then within a fraction of milliseconds, the robot again sense the obstacle and it stops. This continuous swing of stop and run within a very small period of time may cause heavy burden on the system leading to malfunctioning of the components of the system. This paper deals with overcoming this drawback in a way that even after the robot calculates the path is free then also it will wait for a specific amount of time before running it. So as to confirm that if again the sensor detects the obstacle within that specified period then robot don’t need to transit its state suddenly thus avoiding continuous transition of run and stop. Thus it reduces the heavy burden on the system.
