AT89S52 microcontroller was the center controler for wireless temperature measurement and alarm system, through temperature measurement circuit and remote wireless alarm circuit, realized the temperature detection and off-limit alarm of the ambient temperature. The system was composed of temperature acquisition circuit, display circuit and alarm circuit. Temperature sensor was DS18B20, real-time temperature displayed via LED displayer. Users can customize the alarm lower limit and superior limit. when the ambient temperature exceeds the alarm limit, the microcontroller will start the sound and light alarm, and remote wireless alarm. Temperature measurement range from -40 °C to +85 °C, measurement accuracy is 0.5 °C, wireless alarm distance is up to 100 meters. This system is of high precision, wide temperature measurement, and timely alarm.

Mine high voltage power supply equipment on the hot temperature is too high, easy to cause the gas explosion accident, however the hot spot monitoring infrared thermometer surrounding is the existence of a large number of induced magnetic field, which influenced the temperature measurement accuracy, According to the infrared thermometer casing electromagnetic leakage, the shielding enclosure material of the infrared thermometer selected silicon steel, lens window electromagnetic leakage has become the main cause of the decline of electromagnetic shielding effectiveness. In the lens window with ITO film, after the simulation the shielding effectiveness achieves grade 50dB or above to meet the requirements of shielding effectiveness, and that improves the accuracy of temperature measurement.

In order to accurately get the concrete pier temperature field, this paper briefly introduces the types, advantages and disadvantages, development of temperature sensors and the composition, function and measurement accuracy of LTM-8663 intelligent temperature monitoring system. The system has high measurement precision, so we can measure the temperature field by it. In order to certify the rationality of test methods, taking a concrete pier section model as an example, we use the system to measure its sunshine temperature fields in different ways of embedding sensor. According to the comparative analysis of sunshine temperature fields measured in pier section model, we get useful conclusions and recommendations to be provided references for the concrete temperature measurement in piers and other structures.

Fever is a common symptom of many infections, e.g., in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, keeping monitoring devices such as thermometers in constant demand. Recent technological advancements have made infrared (IR) thermometers the choice for contactless screening of multiple individuals. Yet, even so, the measurement accuracy of such thermometers is affected by many factors including the distance from the volunteers’ forehead, impurities (such as sweat), and the location measured on the volunteers’ forehead. To overcome these factors, we describe the assembly of an Arduino-based digital IR thermometer with distance correction using the MLX90614 IR thermometer and HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensors. Coupled with some analysis of these factors, we also found ways to programme compensation methods for the final assembled digital IR thermometer to provide more accurate readings and measurements.
