It is describing terms of Code of Canons of the Eastern Churches as tradition, ceremony and church sui iuris. It is also about institutes typical for metropolitan churches, which are the following: the institute of metropolitan, council of hierarch and also convention of metropolitan church sui iuris.

Improvement of the environment is conditioned by a systematic environmental education. The role of geography in such an educational system is also crucial. As a result, geographical courses require changes. A sound knowledge of one's local region much contributes to the understanding of environment in the broad sense. Environmental education must include the historical development of natural and social elements as well as future prospects. The concept of eco-museum could bring much inspiration to this process. The article deals with the idea of eco-museum of Cental European importance which should primarily influence the environmental thinking of the population.

AbstractIn the world scale, there are various forms of how the hunting tourism is carried out. there is a considerably specific situation in the czech republic originating in the historical development. the assessment of the diversification of the demand for tourist activities was chosen to be the aim of this article. this assessment is based on a questionnaire survey among tourism participants who consume the specific products of the hunting tourism in the tourist regions of Bohemian Forest and south Bohemia. A guided tour in a game enclosure with a professional commentary and wildlife observation showed to be the most interesting offer. the most important thing is the identification of five main segments of demand called “ordinary” gamekeeper's hunting, “occasional” gamekeeper's hunting, angling activities, hunting without the killing and complementary activities. the differences among the latter five segments were identified in the representation of respondents as far as their gender and their membership in a community of anglers or gamekeepers are concerned.

The main objective of this study is to analyse the environment and the processes of university galleries and their exhibition spaces, primarily on the territory of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The historical development of university galleries and their role in society are briefly introduced. An important part of this research paper deals with the definition and typology of university galleries, followed by an analysis of their role and a discussion on the aspect of audience and public engagement. The study draws on research conducted by the author in the years 2016–2020 predominantly in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, described in detail in her doctoral thesis. The methodology of the research is mainly based on semi-structured interviews and study visits of the various institutions in question. The research paper brings forth the subject of university galleries and their role in the advancement of the academic cultural environment.

The article deals with the problems of pension insurance in the territory of today’s Czech Republic from the beginning of the 20th century to the present. The main principles of the development of the pension system in the given period were identified and the analysis was performed mainly in terms of the personal and material scope of insurance, insurance obligations, and briefly in terms of the organizational security of the pension system as well. This analysis was carried out in four selected periods. At the end of the article, the relevant findings from this historical development are summarized and with their use the author's own proposal for the development of the pension insurance system in the Czech Republic in the future is presented.

Moravia is one of the historical regions of the Czech Republic and its center is currently Brno. It is located in the eastern part of the country and some enclaves are also in Silesia or Slovakia. I aim to research the administrative status of this specific region in terms of history, geography, culture or language. As in Slovakia, the regional organization is problematic in the Czech conditions and these aspects are not taken into account. This contribution tries to bring the view from the constitutional and historical development perspective. The requirements of Moravians were not solved by the establishment of the regional units in 2000. On the other hand, current autonomous tendencies are not so strong as in the 1990s. The aim is also to analyze the development of the whole region and to define the views of political parties at national and local level through analyzing, comparison and synthesis.

This brief overview deals with the definition of sociolects in Slavic and non-Slavic linguistics. It presents the historical development of slang and cant/argot research in the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic, as well as the similarities or differences in the definitions of basic terms. It pays attention to the classification of some facultative slangs from an exclusive environment (e.g. criminal). In the last decades, some slangs have been inappropriately characterized as argot. When classifying sociolects, the type of social environment and the social status of the person are often overestimated. Insufficient attention is paid to the communication functions of the sociolect in society and outside, the communication space and the communication potential of the sociolect. Attention is also paid to argot and its inappropriate definition as “the secret language of the low/excluded social groups”. In the case of argot, specific codes can only be identified by a member of a closed community who knows rules for the use of specific verbal or non-verbal codes. Argot may arise and exist in the environment where two antagonistic groups occur. Therefore, argot is not a language of low/excluded social groups, it only has a cryptic function. It is a discrete strategy shielding the communication goal and its occurrence is expected only in a small group of communicators. It has a low communication potential and a radius that is concentrated inside the community. The user of argot can potentially be anyone in any environment, regardless of the motivation for secrecy of communication.

Landscape as a complex entity is currently of interest to a growing range of scientific disciplines. However, the research of landscape in cultural studies is still considered a new phenomenon. Only minimal attention is paid to these issues in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The method of creating transects of cultural landscape layers and their subsequent multitemporal analysis belongs to the most recent possibilities in research. The aim of the paper is to highlight certain positive aspects of the particular method and to outline opportunities for applying the knowledge in the field of cultural studies in the context of historical development.

This article analyses the dissolution of the extreme right Workers’ Party by the Czech courts in 2010. It situates the case in the historical development of party closures by militant democracy on Czech territory and explains why the Workers’ Party was the first party to be dissolved in the Czech Republic after the fall of the Communist regime. It also describes the legislative framework in contemporary Czech law for the dissolution of political parties. It details the political and legal repercussions of the ruling and the wider discussions it provoked, not only in political and expert circles but also among the general public. Given the fact that the case was taken to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, the European dimension of the dissolution of the Workers’ Party is also analysed.

This paper which deals with the issue of “Protection against acts of unlawful interference in civil aviation in the conditions of the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic” and is divided into four main parts. The first part is focused on the basic definitions and concepts of security, which is based on the aviation regulation L17 (ANNEX 17). The second part deals with the typology of threats that pose a danger to air transport together with an indication of specific events related to illegal acts and also points out the measures taken to prevent the recurrence of such acts. Subsequently, the historical development of international legislation in this area is characterized in more detail chronologically from the oldest legal norms to the latest legislation at present. A fundamental element of this paper is a comparison of legislation of the Slovak Republic and Czech Republic. The last part presents possible visions for the future, which consist of modern and intelligent technologies that could be applied in the fight against acts of unlawful interference in the coming years.
