The local dynamics of an optoelectronic oscillator model characterized with feedback delay is investigated. In the neighborhood of the zero equilibrium state, normalized equations are constructed, which are boundary value problems depending on the continuumal parameter. Such problems are used to determine the asymptotic solutions of the original nonlinear system, mainly the frequencies and amplitudes of the components, in the form of a combination of slow and fast oscillations.
