Nanocrystalline samples of Zn 1-x Mn x O (x = 0.0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.1 and 0.2) were synthesized by solid state reaction and characterized by X-ray diffraction and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) at room temperature. EPR studies showed an evidence of ferromagnetism above room temperature.

AbstractPeriodic elastic domains in epitaxial films of MnAs(11̅00)/GaAs(001) are studied near the ferromagnetic phase transition. We obtain the period of the domain structure from the observed the X-ray diffraction satellites arising from the lateral periodicity. The application of the X-ray methods provides a high level of accuracy and gives information about average values over areas of several mm
