In this paper, a new analytical approach to object oriented modeling is presented for the predesign of a multibody system. We investigate the dynamic behavior of a system of interconnected components using the modeling language Modelica. In engineering, beam-masses are often used as design models. In fact, the considered system is composed of a flexible beam subjected to a moving load and supporting one or more translating elastic subsystems. Each subsystem is controlled by a vibration absorber and the structure is affected dynamically only through the moving character of the load. The problem of calculation of the dynamic response of this system is very important in many engineering applications such as in the predesign and analysis of a robotic portal systems, machine tools and bridge crane systems. The object oriented modeling approach will be presented to demonstrate the importance of this approach to parametric investigation. It will illustrate how subsystems from Modelica Standard Library can be connected to the developed structure in order to study the vibrational behavior of such a system. For validation purpose, results are compared with those reported in the literature.

In this paper, temperature variation and dynamic performance of flexible multibody system applied with thermal load are investigated. Considering thermal strain and geometric nonlinear terms, heat conduction equations and dynamic equations for a flexible beam are derived, and then the system heat conduction equations and dynamic equations of flexible multibody system are assembled, and temperature, kinematic and driving constraint equations are used to obtain Lagrange’s equations of the first kind with Lagrange multipliers. Simulation of a rotating hub-beam system with simply-supported boundary condition is carried out to show the softening effect of the beam with temperature increase. Finally, thermal bending of flexible beam system applied with heat flux at upper surface is investigated. Coupling between rotational motion and transverse deformation as well as sudden change of constraint forces and axial stresses are shown to reveal the characteristics of thermal shock.

Geometric faults in parts of machine tools with parallel kinematics lead to stresses in the structure and deflections of the tool center point, reducing the quality of the workpiece. Improving the design of machine tools can reduce these influences. In this paper an approach to compensate the influence of geometric faults in parallel kinematics based on the design of an adaptronic strut is introduced. The strut is divided in two halves and two piezoelectric transducers are implemented in between them, used as sensor and actuator, respectively. A preliminary design of the adaptronic strut is presented. The problems of measuring low-frequency signals using piezoelectric transducers are considered in the design. Finally, a primary analytical model of the dynamical behavior of the adaptronic compensation unit is presented. The strut and its connection to the surroundings are regarded as a flexible multibody system, the equations of motion are derived using linear graph theory. Some simulation results are presented.

Perkembangan dunia teknologi berjalan sangat cepat. Selaras dengan hal itu, kebutuhan manusia hususnya dibidang bisnis juga semakin berkembang. salah satunya adalah R.M. Lesehan Berkah Ilaahi. Rumah makan ini merupakan rumah makan yang memiliki banyak pelanggan. Dengan semakin bertambahnya jumlah pelanggan, maka [penumpukan antrian banyak terjadi. Di samping itu rumah makan ini memiliki potensi untuk dapat terus mengembangkan bisnisnya. Untuk itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang mampu memfasilitasi proses pemesanan melalui online serta mampu membantu pemilik bisnis dalam melakukan promosi dan penawaran, terlebih kepada pelanggan yang daya belinya tinggi. Jurnal ini memaparkan proses pembangunan sistem pemesanan berbasis web dengan menekankan pada tahap analisa, desain, dan implementasi. Analisis kondisi lapangan dilakukan dengan cara observasi lapangan, studi literatur sistem lama, wawancara dan kuesioner pelanggan. Hasil analisa akan digambarkan menggunakan notasi UML (Unified Modeling Language) untuk selanjutnya diimplementasikan dalam sebuah aplikasi e-CRM menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP serta basis data PostgreSQL. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Object oriented dengan memanfaatkan Yii Framework yang merupakan framework PHP berbasis Model View Controller (MVC). Selain itu digunakan pula bootstrap framework dari sisi desain aplikasi untuk memberikan fleksibilitas aplikasi ketika diakses dengan device yang resolusinya lebih kecil seperti telephon genggam. Kata kunci : Observasi, Wawancara, Kuesioner, UML (Unified Modeling Language), Yii Framework, Object oriented, Model View Controller (MVC), bootstrap framework.

Due to the complex timing sequence of NAND flash, a unified design process is urgently required to guarantee the reliability of storage system of nano-satellite. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a widely used high level modeling language for object-oriented design. This paper adopts the UML as the design and modelling tool in the low level storage system design to elaborate the UML application in each phase of design in detail. The result shows taking UML as the modelling tool results in a clear and unambiguity design, which promotes the reliability and quality of software. At last, the feasibility of object-oriented implementation in C is presented.
