Steady-state modelling method for matrix-reactance frequency converter with boost topologyThis paper presents a method intended for calculation of steady-state processes in AC/AC three-phase converters that are described by nonstationary periodical differential equations. The method is based on the extension of nonstationary differential equations and the use of Galerkin's method. The results of calculations are presented in the form of a double Fourier series. As an example, a three-phase matrix-reactance frequency converter (MRFC) with boost topology is considered and the results of computation are compared with a numerical method.

The paper is devoted to the problem of power flow calculation and steady state analysis methods adaptation for four-phase electrical grids. These methods are based on developed models of four-phase power lines and phase convering transformers. The basis of research is nodal voltages equations for three-phase, four-phase and mixed (combined by three-and four-phase elements) grids. Algorithm of four-phfase elements parameters automized adaptation for power flow calculation model of "RastrWin" software have been developed.

The paper shows that the three-phase bridge convertor can be represented in the steady state by a circuit model. Circuit models are deduced for naturally commutated and forced commutated convertors. Steady state power rectification, inversion, the d.c. link, and variable frequency motor control are described.

The partition of Li+, Br-, and I- across the membrane of the sartorius muscle of the toad Bufo marinus has been investigated both at the steady state and with kinetic methods. Li+ was found to have access to an amount of muscle water similar to that of Na+. Br- and I- could be regarded as being interchangeable with cellular Cl-. None of the foreign ions caused significant losses of cellular K+. Li+ efflux from the cell was slower in muscles which were equilibrated for long periods in Li+ than in short equilibrated muscles. Na+ efflux from Li+-treated muscles was similar in rate to normal controls, but the amount of Na+ in the slow fraction was increased by Li+. I- efflux was extremely rapid, and it was not possible to differentiate kinetically between intra- and extracellular material. These results have been found to be consistent with the hypothesis of a three phase system for muscle.
