For requirements Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) speeds control, the digital signal processor (DSP) is used for speed control system of PMSM. By using space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) algorithm, system performance is improved, and system costs are reduced. In this paper, the principle of SVPWM is analyzed, and its implementation is described. Through the analysis of permanent magnet synchronous motor in a different coordinate system in the mathematical model system solution is presented, software design for system is described. A DSP-based PMSM speed control system is build, the system is analyzed in MATLAB simulation. That proves the feasibility of the system.

In order to improve the speed performance of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) speed control system, and increase system reliability and adaptability, PMSM current-speed double close loop speed control system based vector control was designed. Current loop adopted traditional PI controller, speed controller adopted adaptive fuzzy PI control method which was based on traditional PI control method and fuzzy control method. Space voltage pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technology was used to control working condition of the inverter. The system simulation model was established in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment, and ran this simulation model.The simulation results show that: This system is feasible, and adaptive fuzzy PI control system has better dynamic and static characteristics than traditional PI control method.

An improved extended state observer is designed to eliminate the influences of speed control for a permanent magnet synchronous motor. The improved extended state observer is designed based on a new nonlinear function. This function exhibits better continuity and derivability than previously available functions and can effectively reduce the high-frequency flutter phenomenon. The nonlinear dynamics, model uncertainty, and external disturbances of the permanent magnet synchronous motor speed control system are extended to a new state. The improved extended state observer is utilized to observe this state. The overtime variation of the permanent magnet synchronous motor speed control system can be predicted and compensated in real time by the improved extended state observer. Therefore, the improved extended state observer, which is designed based on the new nonlinear function, can eliminate the disturbances on the permanent magnet synchronous motor speed control system. Finally, simulation experiments are performed and results show that the permanent magnet synchronous motor speed control system with improved extended state observer exhibits better performances.
