The image-based monocular visual servoing is difficult to realize the grasping task on three-dimension. This study presented a method of quaternion on 3D reaching tasks of visual servoing. This method used a camera and a laser scanner to acquire the information of the images and the depth. Then the parameters of Jacobian matrix could be determined by the method of the quaternion. A particular constraint mechanism was also proposed to optimize the reaching trajectory of the robot. The simulation results demonstrated our proposed method could implement the 3D reaching tasks successfully and had a significant performance improvement compared to conventional methods.

In analytical electron microscopy, it is often important to know the local thickness of a sample. The conventional method used for measuring specimen thickness by EELS is:where t is the specimen thickness, λi is the total inelastic mean free path, IT is the total intensity in an EEL spectrum, and I0 is the zero loss peak intensity. This is rigorouslycorrect only if the electrons are collected over all scattering angles and all energy losses. However, in most experiments only a fraction of the scattered electrons are collected due to a limited collection semi-angle. To overcome this problem we present a method based on three-dimension Poisson statistics, which takes into account both the inelastic and elastic mixed angular correction. The three-dimension Poisson formula is given by:where I is the unscattered electron intensity; t is the sample thickness; λi and λe are the inelastic and elastic scattering mean free paths; Si (θ) and Se(θ) are normalized single inelastic and elastic angular scattering distributions respectively ; F(E) is the single scattering normalized energy loss distribution; D(E,θ) is the plural scattering distribution,

Fused deposition modelling (FDM) is a process of joining materials based on material entrusion technique to produce objects from 3D model using layer-by-layer technique as opposed to subtractive manufacturing. However, many challenges arise in the FDM-printed part such as warping, first layer problem and elephant food that was led to an error in dimensional accuracy of the printed parts especially for the overhanging parts. Hence, in order to investigate the manufacturability of the FDM printed part, various geometrical and manufacturing features were developed using the benchmarking artifacts. Therefore, in this study, new benchmarking artifacts containing multiple overhang lengths were proposed. After the benchmarking artifacts were developed, each of the features were inspected using 3D laser scanner to measure the dimensional accuracy and tolerances. Based on 3D scanned parts, 80% of the fabricated parts were fabricated within ±0.5 mm of dimensional accuracy as compared with the CAD data. In addition, the multiple overhang lengths were also successfully fabricated with a very significant of filament sagging observed.

Forced Eviction is one of issues that keep on lingering around our society. The victim of this event usually doesn’t have much option to choose or fight over. Based on this issue and a short story about the same issue, “Maaf dari Esti” was created. The story will be visualized with gothic style to picture the quirk and sadness, not only the environtment but aso the character. Esti, the protagonist of the story will be designed according to Douce Apocalypse Illustration without abandon the three dimention base of the character. Keywords: forced eviction, gothic, three dimension

Based on a prediction method of the scattered sound pressure, an active control system was proposed in previous work for the three-dimension scattered radiation, where all the relevant simulations and experiments were implemented in three-dimensional free sound field. However, for practical applications, such as the anti-eavesdropping system or the stealth system for submarines, the sound field conditions are usually complex, and the most common case is the one with reflecting surface. It is questionable whether the previous control system is still effective in non-free sound field, or what improvements should be operated to ensure the control effect. In this article, based on the mirror image principle, two methods of calculating the control source strengths are proposed for the scattered radiation control, and numerical simulations with one-channel and multi-channel system are implemented to detect the corresponding control effect. It is seen that the local active control for the scattered radiation is still effective, and the reduction of the sound pressure level as well as the control area is extended with the increasement of the error sensors and control sources.

This article presents the results of studying the dimensional accuracy of the bases of complete removable prostheses made using a 3D printer and the traditional method. Bases of complete removable prostheses were made using an intraoral laser scanner iTero Cadent (USA) and a 3D printer Asiga Max UV (Australia). To study the dimensional accuracy of the bases of complete removable prostheses, we used the DentalCAD 2.2 Valletta software. The Nonparametric Wilcoxon W-test was used for statistical analysis of the obtained data. We found that the average value of the difference with the standard for bases made using digital technologies is 0.08744±0.0484 mm. The average value of the difference with the standard for bases made by the traditional method is 0.5654±0.1611 mm. Based on these data, we concluded that the bases of complete removable prostheses made using modern digital technologies (intraoral laser scanning and 3D printer) have a higher dimensional accuracy compared to the bases of complete removable prostheses made using the traditional method with a significance level of p<0.05 (Wilcoxon's W-test=0, p=0.031).
