The article confers a scalable manufacturing process of Fenspiride HCl. 4-aminomethyl-1-(2-phenylethyl)-piperidin-4-ol is the main building block in Fenspiride HCl synthesis. The reported reagents for 4-aminomethyl-1-(2-phenylethyl)-piperidin-4-ol synthesis are costly, explosive, highly toxic, produce hazardous waste, and also need to be handled with most care. The paper introduces aqueous ammonia as an alternate reagent in Fenspiride HCl and used in 4-aminomethyl-1-(2-phenylethyl)-piperidin-4-ol synthesis. The new green chemistry aspect makes the process environment-friendly and cheaper. It also eliminates toxic, sensitive, and hazardous reagents and makes the process safe on uncomplicated on bulk scale production. The high pure Fenspiride HCl is obtained by following this process and meets the ICH limits with good yield.

: The use of natural and environment friendly energy sources for betterment of the living society has become an active concern in both government and public sector. Due to this, responsible use of global resources has become a growing concern among people. Similarly, in chemical industry especially in pharmaceutical fields, there is constant pressure in reducing hazardous organic solvents and environmentally detrimental laboratory materials. The use of ionic liquids in efficient synthesis of a wide array of fundamentally important structural motifs has gained tremendous importance in the scientific era. In this review, synthesis of two such medicinally relevant moieties, namely, triazole and pyrazole, in green and sustainable ionic liquid have been discussed.

Benvitimod (3,5-dihydroxy-4-i-propylstilbene) is a novel drug developed for common skin disorders such as atopic dermatitis by Welichem Biotech Inc. in Canada and Celestial Pharmaceuticals (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. in China. But the ideal synthesis method is not reported so far. Herein an efficient synthesis method which is operated under the mild conditions is reported. According this route, the total yield will reach 40.3 - 48.1% and the benefits of the improved method are easily operating and environment friendly.

The aim of this paper is to introduce novel dressing with Mikania Micrantha for quick blood clotting and wound healing. When epidermis of human skin is cut or scrapped, sometimes too much bleeding occurs. Excessive bleeding may cause death, if bleeding is not stopped immediately. To promote blood clotting & wound healing natural based bio materials are still insufficient in medical textile sector. To fill up this scarcity, woven fabric treated with Mikania micrantha leaf juice & leaf powder was examined. M. micrantha exhibits good blood clotting time in comparison with available dressing materials. Woven fabric (bandage) that contains M. micrantha can be used for cut wounds healing purpose. The experiments were carried out in environment friendly way which indicates the production & processing of these dressing materials can have enormous contribution to sustainable operations and products.
